For Christ Sake use your brains, as an individual knowledgeable in the field of medicine. A person who is chained for 16 hours ( which Sami was during his flight from Gitmo to Sudan ), not just walking but even talking becomes impossible because of the numbness that takes in effect throughout much of your body. So my assessment would be that he must have been in a terrible condition as soon as he arrived but would have recovered in a couple of hours...God has given you Brains, use IT!

How come the United States treats people like animals both outside the U.S. and inside the U.S? Where inside the U.S. they provide little food for prisoners who have committed minor crimes. They provide inhumane conditions, over populated prison cells. With little food and over crowded rooms. With no phone options to contact their families and friends. Long hours before being able to talk to a lawyer. They are placed in prison cells and interrogated first before having a lawyer present.

They receive long periods of time for small crimes they committed. They are unable to afford lawyers to defend them against false persecution. State lawyers provide no assistance to help people of poverty and middle class workers. They are placed at an economic disadvantage when represented by a judge. How come?

I am happy that this guy is finally free because he will be able to tell the world the truth about his ordeals in GETMO.I think bringing George Bush to justice should be made an issue in the November US elections if Americans do not agree with what their president did to the millions of innocent people in both Afghanistan and Iraq or else their political correctiness is doomed to fail.
