It's a Comedy Now special, and you can view it on the comedynetwork website (not sure if this works outside of Canada) if not you may be able to find it elsewhere. Comedy Now season 4 episode 7. It's not as brutal as his newer stuff but he is just hilarious.

There is a reason people like Carlin or Louis CK are big because it is VERY rare to see a fresh hour every year from a comic. Most take years developing and act before they get any TV time. Once he sell this product he will develop another one, or die of an overdose.

Not sure if I like it or not. On the one hand he has that "Ima say what the fuck I want to" style that I like, but it seems like he is just stringing together a bunch of supposedly offensive bullshit, with no real joke.

Umm, you are aware that there is a world of difference between the worlds of comedy and music??

Writing new material is ESSENTIAL to a comedian. It helps keep them fresh and interesting. Billy Connolly wouldn't be where he is today if he kept on doing all of his old routines and jokes over and over again. True, the same can be said with bands and musicians but to a lesser extent. I mean, you can listen to a favorite song or piece of music over and over again without tiring of it.
