  • imma be goinn to cal sate fullerton in just 4 years

    yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THERE ARE BANANAS ON THE HOMEWORK TABLE.

  • Are these apart of the Residence Halls?

  • Is this a commedy video?

  • To have arrived on this earth as a product of a biological accident, only to depart through human arrogance, would be the ultimate irony. - R. Leakey; Origins, 1977

  • Cal State campuses aren't as renowned as UCLA, Berkeley, Stanford, nor Ivy League schools. Cal Poly Pomona is known for its engineering program. Only thing that is bad about cal poly is the teachers. Some are mean, boring or strict. However, on campus accommandations are fun because some stay during weekends.

  • I should have chosen fullerton because it's a semester campus. But I picked Cal Poly Pomona instead. It's too late to change my school until I graduate. But I don't know what I want to study nor what I want to do for living.

  • @shtdragon im between pomona and fullerton too and im leaning towards fullerton...is pomona THAT bad? I heard fullerton has a better communications program anyway.

  • these people make CSUF look way better than another video did.

  • LOL were those people having a hookah session outside?

  • im suprised people actually dorm at fullerton. its dead on weekends

  • i'm thinking of applyinhg there. what are the positives and negatives for this school?

  • I heard everyone is really anti-social and they all go home on weekends and you're in your room by yourself sometimes since it is a commute school. Is that true? Also, if I live in a dorm, is it close enough to bike to school everyday? Or walk? Or do I have to drive? And do the rooms come with any furniture? Such as the TV, fridge, sofa, table, etc.?

  • We just moved in on Wednesday. It's only been a couple of days, but it's been amazing so far. My roommates are awesome and the community is great. I HIGHLY suggest living in the dorms; well worth it.

  • honestly, i dont think you guys have a clue how much this video helped me. lol the floor plan that's on the website is crap. thank God for this video. lol

  • Sup well ima b a freshmean 2 but both of u r lucky kuz ima hav 2 drive there everyday nd deal wit traffic haha! But da dorms sure r pricey

  • @iDoc I'm on the waitlist just in case you want to cancel :).

  • Comment removed

  • @iDoc oh darn! I'm sure 1 out of 800 will cancel (hopefully singles!) so I can still get a room. It's possible!

    How much are payments?

  • Comment removed

  • @iDoc just took a tour of the dorms, I felt claustrophobic. very tiny! but valuable spot because you get to room with other students and make friends fast :)

I might be getting an apartment across the street, pretty nice one but I'd be alone :[. Plus it's pricier.

  • i wanna live in doubles cause one their cheaper cause i cant afford $7,675 and 2.... well thats all i can think of.

  • im just a freshman in high school but i already got 3 choices for college and this one of them!!

  • hah! Well, I haven't been accepted yet :,(. I had trouble with my transcripts, they changed the date from July 18th to March 10th and I had a transcript stuck in Texas. Luckily I was able to FINALLY get it mailed (on the due date, which is okay they say).

Now...I wait. how long? I dono, but it's gonna kill me!

  • Comment removed

  • Hopefully! I should of called them today but I didn't, so I have to wait till Monday to see whats up.

What housing information did you get? Are they already setting you up with a room? And was the housing tour like a big tour? I feel like im missing out hah. I want a singles room darn it! :P

  • =) I will indeed!

  • hahah ya the doubles have balconies. aww i miss my dorm!! and my school!! GO TITANS!! =)

  • 0:40 saids shit not crap.

  • I applied to this school. Hopefully I can get in.

  • @jsnruf

Yeah, so did I, along with sdsu and csu fresno. At this point though, I'm thinking I might not get into any, what with these cuts and my so-so grades at the jr. college. Yeah...

  • What was your GPA? I applied to sdsu and Humboldt state and got an acceptance letter from the latter already, and my average was only 2.75. If you're a transfer student you might be ok

  • get in yet?

I was dumb and didn't send my transcripts in. They are processed now (at least the transcript with the golden four), so hopefully I hear from them very soon!

  • blonde girl is dumb. doubles have balconies too...what a tard

  • Do freshmen get first priority? Because I'm an upper-division transfer student that will be coming in Fall 2010. I also sent in my dorm application on midnight of the first day when applications were available. I hope I get a dorm! :)

  • haha kickass I did the dorm application at midnight too! we're pretty cool.

  • Haha, fuck yeah dude. Maybe we might get dormed together.

  • Perhaps :>. I dono about you, but I'm shootin for the singles. Doubles may be more fun, but I'm pretty sure having your own space in a fancier apartment would be better.

  • Bust. I'm going for doubles. It's cheaper and you get more roommates. I don't know; I guess I just like having more connections.

  • I probably should do that, but thinking about having a crappy roommate, or trying to do something in ur room while ur roommates sleeping, or bringing a girl over...well, I just don't want to be in those situations :).

or if a girl comes over for him! even worse! "Don't mind us, you can study, we'll be quite," hahaha. I'll have to check out the campus before I def. know what I want tho :X I hear doubles are bigger (more space per person than a single)

  • Oops. I accidentally posted on my sister's account, haha.

Original post: "Haha. I like your thinking. I honestly do not mind if I get doubles or singles. I just want a dorm :)"

  • haha nice :). do you have a myspace?

  • Nah, I deleted my MySpace a month ago, bro. I have a Facebook though.

  • drinkin............. i got with so many girls there..... yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • lived there for 3 school years (92 - 95) and had a blast!!

  • gonna be livin in the doubles in the fall yee yee!

  • I'm gonna be going to CSU Fullerton this fall but I couldn't afford the dorms so I'm living in near by apartments with a few roommates. Are the surrounding apartments pretty much college kids?

  • Hey im an incoming freshmen and going to dorm this fall! See u all there!!!!@!@!@!

  • this school looks awsome! i'm still a sophmore in highschool but i started looking because of a recent field trip my class took to CSU Channel Islands and i want to stay in California so i started looking up CSU's. they look so much more fun.

what's the distance like bewteen buildings? also what kind of restuarants does fullerton have?

p.s. when you apply for a dorm do they give you survey, to match you with other people, what's it like?

  • All the dorm are close by each other. It has carls jr and startbucks....

    They give you a survey

  • and what's it like off campus? like what is there to do in that area?

  • @G3XRevolution like the other guy who replied the dorms are close to each other. and they recently started building other dorms that will be ready by next yr i believe

i lived in the dorms for 2 yrs and LOVED it. the ones shown on this video are the original singles and doubles that are suites. which means its like an apartment. while the ones they are building are halls. two ppl to a single room. but the cool thing is that since they are building those they will be providing a meal plan :)

  • @G3XRevolution close to a bunch of restaurants that are fairly close by and on campus theres a carls jr, then in the TSU (titan student union) theres a fresh kitchen, busy bee's, green burrito, round table pizza and togo'sthey do give you a survey its a large note card with questions on both side. its VERY important that you apply for the dorms really early even before you know if you have been accepted to attend CSUF!! dorms are limited until the other ones are finished

  • I got into a single, which is good for me. I can't wait.

  • i got into the doubles. how are the parties out there?

  • doubles have more fun than singles, singles are nicer. the parties are what you make them. there are chill nights with pong and stuff

  • I'm going to this school, this fall.....can't wait....

  • hows the frat?

  • which one?

  • i mean the frat life..?

  • looks nice. i hope i get accepted

  • I'm almost certain I'm going to CSUF during the Fall of 2010 as a Junior. What are my chances on getting in the singles? And is dorm life good? I know it's a commuter school but what are some of the things to do for fun on aday to day basis? (parties? events? people hang out? people in hallways hanging out? movie night? place to eat near by? etc.)

  • dorm life is good. doubles are a lot more social than singles. singles are more expensive and nicer ( u have ur own room and share suite with only 4 people) doubles is share room with someone and share suite with 6 people. but singles is a lot less social. dorm life is what you make it, honestly.

  • hmm thanks.

  • hrmmmm.... I could understand why it's more social in doubles, but I think I might opt to get into singles so I can have my own room :). I guess I'll just have to wait and see how it goes.

  • oh csuf is also building new dorms that i think will be ready in 2010 so im sure there will be a better chance of getting in then

  • dorms r really fun i lived there my freshman year. if you dont get into the dorms then you could also move into university village which is right across the street and is more of a party atmosphere which is fun if your into that. its a lot easier to get into university village, but if you get in the dorms they are a lot nicer

  • haha this is a cool, fun vid. Makes you want to go to college already =] I hope I get in for Fall 09-10.

  • I am curious, does CSFU offer graduate housing?

  • no, there is only space for only 800

  • Is csuf like a commuter school?

  • mostly. only 800 kids get into dorms

    out of 37,000

  • so apply early!! no matter what!

  • this was awesome!! i'm been accepted into CSUF for fall 2009! and this is my second choice. but the dorms make me want to go there soo bad. ahah

  • the dorms are unlike any other college dorms

  • I'm going to CSUF in fall as a transfer. I hope I can get housing, or else I won't be able to go.

  • thnx for making a video about housing ive been accepted to cal state fullerton and ive been wanting to see how the dorms look!

    ;p

  • trevorrrr, you have comments! :] and you cut out the part when we were all in jared's room and i was sitting on the bed with corey! haha what the heck?! :/ but i loveeee it.

  • This was nicely done man ! this is Jim from Elusive Films..the makers of that arctic monkeys video..the lights were indeed turned on and off haha..keep up the good work

  • take a video tour of the whole campus, mainly the new business building ;).

man I wish I went to a uni+dorms, but im going to community college instead :[.

  • Ive got a video tour of the campus on my channel, made before the no-skate ban

  • NICE!!

  • Oh the good ole days at the dorms...

But good job lots of good footage A++
