  • GREAT! hahaha, only as a joke, there is a very small part for the ukulele in this song, how does it go? A D E D A E A right?

  • So you tune up your D string on your baritone?

  • @faithmusic9, no. I take the whole set of tenor strings and put them on the baritone. Because of the longer scale of the baritone they will fit nearly perfect to the G tuning one quart under the usual C tuning

  • Nice stuff. Have you ever tried tuning your baritone to a soprano tuning? GCEA? I understand that Aquila sells GCEA tuning strings for a baritone. Would you have a video with this kind of setting?

  • @cruzsongs, this is not a baritone but a concert.

But why tune my baritones to GCEA?

The most important thing (for me) is to tune them reentrant, and that's what I do (I use tenor strings for my baritones and tune them that way to DGBE

  • @WS64 I'm sorry, I knew this wasn't a baritone.I'm just asking about a baritone in general. I was just wondering how different a baritone would sound with a GCEA tuning. Also, why do you string your baritone with tenor strings? For a brighter sound?

  • @cruzsongs, no just to get easy access to reentrant strings.

  • Great job, my friend!!!

  • great job!! :D hehe is that the music video of it playing of the tv in the background?

  • @DAWNSTARR100, I can't remember, but it does not look like that... Especially the red thing from second 31 to 38, can't find anything like that on the original video. I missed a chance here! ;)

  • This is a great version that captures the plaintive quality of the melody and avoids the slightly dirge like vibe that can result. Wonderful control and expression.

  • lol When I first clicked on this I thought it was a cover of Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd, not Free As A Bird

  • @theperson37 Me too. me too. Still, pretty awesome WS64!

  • I think John, George, Paul and Ringo, would love to have jammed with you. You do their music credit. Thanks so much for making the music as enjoyable today as is was when first released.
