It may seem like a "SEAL team 6 sniper" is one of the best of the best, but most people are being misled. SEALs focus on small unit direct action, which means that their snipers are designed to work in a fireteam. In most situations, they are essentially designated marksmen, and use mk12's and train for relatively short range targets. Not trying to downplay SEALs, but guys who go through scout sniper school are generally better all around shooters.

Even regular snipers can go to other sniper school if they want. and you dont have to go through school to be a sniper there have been alot of non schooled snipers.

Only about 10% of being a sniper is shooting, There are Markmenship requirments you have to pass to be a sniper also look that up and lee harvey was a former marine NOT a sniper.
