My parents got me this video for Christmas when I was 10 years old. Seeing this song with their sunburst Les Pauls was what gave me the guitar bug. Oddly enough, it didn't occur to me then that Felder was on a PRS. I've never owned a Les Paul but I have a PRS and I have no desire to replace it with anything else.

I think it's no coincidence that the only Eagles song where Joe Walsh sings lead vocals (namely, this one) is probably his best vocal performance period, even counting all of his solo songs. If you're going to try to hold your own vocally with the likes of Don Henley, Glenn Frey, and Timothy B Schmit, you'd better bring your A effort!
