This video has me crying like a baby. Both Barack and Michelle are so warm and caring and authentic, as are their adorable daughters. What a wonderful thing for him to do to come in and spontaneously speak to these children. He is a true inspiration and can lift up not only a nation but the world with his positive messages and actions.
Even though some of the smaller ones really didn't know what was going on, you could see them get caught up in the excitement.
I love how Michelle even picked up some of the kids to give them a hug.
I bet most kids don't have to go through training on how to deal with 100s of screaming kids like Malia and Sasha. I bet they'll be great women someday.
At about the 6:30 mark you can see Malia go to her dad and whisper that there was a little girl crying. Barack immediately goes over as does Michelle and she picked the little girl up and gave her a snuggle. This family is and is going to be such a treat to watch for the next 8 years.
That was beautiful. That's a moment that these kids will remember for the rest of their lives, and it sends a message to them that you CAN be whatever your mind and spirit embodies for you.

What a wonderful thing for him to do to come in and spontaneously speak to these children. He is a true inspiration and can lift up not only a nation but the world with his positive messages and actions.

Even though some of the smaller ones really didn't know what was going on, you could see them get caught up in the excitement.
I love how Michelle even picked up some of the kids to give them a hug.
I bet most kids don't have to go through training on how to deal with 100s of screaming kids like Malia and Sasha. I bet they'll be great women someday.

At about the 6:30 mark you can see Malia go to her dad and whisper that there was a little girl crying. Barack immediately goes over as does Michelle and she picked the little girl up and gave her a snuggle. This family is and is going to be such a treat to watch for the next 8 years.

That was beautiful. That's a moment that these kids will remember for the rest of their lives, and it sends a message to them that you CAN be whatever your mind and spirit embodies for you.
I just hope the trials and the pressures that come along with the enormous task Barack is about to undertake doesn't muddle or diminish the huge heart he has for people, especially children.

No matter how nice and popular the family will be. If the policies and his decisions are wrong for our nation. It will not mean a thing. deflation, hyperinflation, further shredding of our constition, continue to run the money printing press, etc. Maybe, one of those adorable children could pose with large stacks of dollars, just to go and buy a bag of groceries at the supermarket. Hope I am wrong. Looks like this past election could be the last one for the US. God

Amazing video, I'm not sure if people truly understand what President Elect Obama means to these children. For most of them to see a positive Black man achieve the highest office in the land will change theirs lives forever. Those young black boys cling to him becausethey have a father figure to look up to. They need that more than anything.

OMG, the teeny-weeny ones just won't let go of him; he keeps on walking, dragging them along as they hang onto his arm! lol A child's love, so precious. I love when he tells them that there's nothing they can't do, they can be one day president or something and the kids just become crazy. It's so beautiful, he's going to be an example for generetions. He is already and example for me.

This 73 year old great grandmother is crying like a baby seeing our young being inspired to be all that they can be by this man! Hope springs eternal! Thanks this Thanksgiving for OBAMA, as the children chant, and may their chant, 'Yes we can', take them to higher than this country has allowed them to go...And so it will be!
