japan is nation who relised they wrong deed in 1940's and know helping the other nation who needs help. Thats is sign of development of civil society. Zenkoji was attacked with scribbling graffiti.

Zenkoji, founded in 644, is a national heirloom of Japan.
The scribbled main hall of the temple was reconstructed 300 years ago.
In 1300 years of history, being scribbled is the first experience of the temple.
Zenkoji decided not to become Olympic torch starting point.
