  • Why don't cut it with a "laser"? :)

  • @KingIsulgard Because CO2 lasers made to cut through 1 inch thick metal run in the Kilowatt power range, to cut material this thick you'd need something even more absurd and to pay a laser operator who is certified to operate such equipment instead of a simple machinist. Additionally while lasers do great with sheet metal and plates then can't get the three dimensional detail that a CNC setup can, for instance the angles grooves on the bottom gear would be impossible for a conventional CNC laser

  • That ain't sound good at all.

  • @94meriks English?

  • @theTank77 English?

  • Sorry, what brand is that machine tool ??? Maybe spanish machine like "Sora Luce" ???

  • @nextdevil71

I wouldn't know, but the company is Canadian, not Spanish.

  • @nextdevil71

Now I have an answer. It's made by TOS Kurim in the Czech Republic. As I understand it, these machines are extraordinarily precise.

  • @douro20 I know TosKurim machine....In Italy are many machines like that....

  • does someone have to be present for the entire operation? that is gonna take forever!!!!!!

  • what are you using these gears for?? para que se usaran estos engranes?? en que industria?

  • Some gear you've got there.

  • what is the herringbone gear going to be used for..?

  • @dougspair with the size like this one, i thinks it's maybe use for a crane !!

  • waoo una maquina super avanzada automatizada

  • Quá đỉnh

  • tu estas biendo pues que son mas grandes que la lonjas de tu abuela¡¡¡

  • That's a big gear... better hope the CNC machine doesn't have a software crash!

  • @gymkhanadog oh don't worry, the CAM data always three times check by three different engineering, so it's hard to get trouble with the CAM data, most trouble is a break down cutting tools...
