@JasonBosher Yes it is. Panned to the right is the original guitar part from the song. I wrote out the guitar line for a thor synth patch and panned it to the left.

This is lush, probably actually my new favourite track. Quick Q. As you're using audio I guess you're using one of the samplers, they're both MIDI triggered right? Is there any way whilst editing to listen to the audio in real time (if that makes sense) rather than having to go to the beginning of the note trigger to hear the whole sample? I love Reason but god damn, if it had audio editing and vsts it'd be the perfect program!

@TheRealGaffer There is Record, which with Reason 5 turns it into a full-blown DAW with recording, resampling, and sound clip editing. If you have Reason already, it's (sorta) cheap to upgrade. It depends on what kind of music work you're doing. If you do a lot of editing of pre-existing audio, it may make your life waaay easier. Perhaps try the demo?

I doubt Propellerheads will ever support VST. It introduces too many instabilities.

@TheRealGaffer Though...if you had another piece of software that did support VST, I think you could ReWire through it and use it there.

Honestly, it looks like what Propellerheads is trying to do is make Reason totally powerful (and yet still lighter than ProTools) so you don't ever need VST.

Most VST patches I've used in the past, I've figured out a way to kludge in Reason 4.

i find reason to be a bit limiting....havn't you ever considered switching to cubase or live to really let your sound out to it's full potential....i know reason is old school and all that....but lets face it....there are better things out there that do the same and better.....

but i love evey track you have made....really awesome job....but i think it could be even better.....which is only persuing perfection at that point..lol *****
