actually i am at monster killer and thats one of the must greates book i never read but the troll killer, and skaven killer are not for me the best but after thats so much great! i recommend that book!!!
Excellent review, i've seen the books but never picked one up, i have also heard other good comments about them, so i will definatley be looking into that. As for the reviews, i think this series of book reviews is a great idea:) great work!
I don't like Tolkien either, and tend to like very descriptive reading as well. If you like that try Paul S. Kemp. He writes Forgotten Realms novels. I agree with the R. A. Salvatore assessment; he doesn't write like he used to.
Yes, I would like to see more reviews. I mainly read fantasy, authors like David Farland, Stephen Erickson, and many Forgotten Realms novels, though some of those are hit and miss.
Love your painting vids by the way, and get one when I can afford it.
Let's start a drinking game where we take a shot every time Christopher says "book." :D
Great review! I didn't even know books in this genre (Warhammer) existed.
I'm all for more reviews. Don't be afraid of going outside of this genre, though. I don't read much, but when I do, I have trouble putting the book down until I'm finished. I'd love some recommendations.
Remember your bread and butter, though, Christopher. I loves me some painting tutorials. ;)
Yeah, i know. I want to do more tutorials, but right now, the reviews are quicker to do. And, if I want to get that "Secret Project" done before June, I need to focus almost all my attention on it :D
Awesome review! I'm an avid reader as well and there's so many interesting looking titles from Black Library. Reviews are a great way to have an idea of what books might appeal. Keep the reviews coming! Thanks!
Nice review. I don't read much (even though there's a million books I want to check out) but it's nice to hear what other people think of novels that are out there.
I personally love Tolkien and have since gotten into Guy Gavriel Kay but I haven't given any of the Black Library books a go.
Thanks for the review. Chris. Being a big fan of the series, I am very glad to see a review here. I own all of the books and even every pair of Gotrek and Felix minis that GW produced. (3 editions!) lol
i think their one were its terriable the whole book is about seeing an army getting bigger bigger bigger lol the when they start fighting then its good bt for the 1st 3/4 its terriable the rest is great continue the reviews love it !
Thanks Alexandra. I know it said it in the book, but I read it almost a year ago and didn't feel like going back to find the 1 sentence where it explained it, lol.
Felix is a War Poet :) and i hate to be this guy but its "Got-Rek" and "Demonslayer" and idk how you dont like a gripping story? if i cant put the book down thats a good book lol and im pretty sure its a sin not to like Dragonlance! seriously!! thats just wrong!!...but i respect that fact that LOTR bored you....cuz for goodenss sakes! 2 paragraphs on how the freaking candle light refects off the wall....BORING!!!

Have you read A Song of Ice and Fire books by George R.R. Martin? They are probably the best fantasy books I have ever read.

I really liked this video. Can you:
1. Explain why you don't like Tolkein? I find that interesting that someone would go so much so agains the mainstream.
2. Have you read any of the Gaunt's Ghosts books? Can you review those?
