Well I know cats are a source of allergy to me and to many millions of others in the US alone, and that their dander is smaller than a micron, and a test was done in which cat dander was in the air in a room which was sealed for 70 days..the results? The cat dander was still in the air, supported by the air molecules! Cat dander is extremely dangerous to at least as many as are allergic to peanuts. I'm not allergic to peanuts, I am thankful.

Platypus' arnt poisonus, they are venomous. And its far from "harmless". A sting from a platypus has been known to make all the pain reseptors in your body fire at once and the pain itself has been discribed as being lit on fire.

I didn't know platypus were poisonous till a few years ago. And only males are poisonous. Even though both male and females are born with poison glands the females shed theirs at three or four months old. The males will use them for defence and sparring when older during mating season. Only certain species of catfish are poisonois. Not all of them are though.

Would also like to note - centipede bites are deadly to people who are allergic to bee stings. The toxin is extremely similar but more potent and can cause anaphylactic shock in moments. Thankfully they don't bite often lol, but I generally take a good broom to the creepy bastards anyways!!!!

The Komodo dragon having actual venom glands is totally new to me, but still a great informational bit of video montage. @RapedByVYFI it is how the toxin is delivired for example a snake is venomus because it's toxin is delivered directly also becuase the toxin is delivered through a specilized organisim (it's fangs). where poison is not delivered directly like when a animal is eatem or toouched for example the turtle and bird shown in this video are poisinous becuase for the bird the toxin can only be delivered if eaten or touched where the turtle's poision is only delivered by being eaten but both are poisinous

Isn't the domestic cat poisoness? because i have good knowledge that a cat bite can cause paralysis in rats (due to a chemical substance) however, it might just be bacteria.
