y'see I was wondering if there is an argument for adding none acoustic gizmo's to the pipes to help it keep up with expectations of the modern ear. Brian Sharp innovated this approach in his time at Stamford park. If midi and samples had been available to the builders in the 1930's they surely would have incorporated them .. ???
I'm still playing these tunes in my melodies to this day , many of us are. I know the words also. They are still heard at the Tower. But I wonder how they sound to a young ear. To people to whom they have no associations or memories.
@chrismannion1 When I personally got hooked on the theatre organ, 50% or more of the music was unfamiliar to me, but Ive enjoyed it. Its got structure and layers etc. Not like todays music.
What is the song played at 1:14 - 1:54?
