  • I love the Filmation studio cartoons.

This Zorro cartoon does look a bit like the older Hanna Barbera cartoons like Scooby Doo,or is it just me who is seeing this?

  • @GoliathAngelus Yes, I totally agree!

  • @GoliathAngelus The same company who made He-Man made this and Tarzan and the Super7

  • @2199 Yes,i have notice it ,and also find out here on Youtube and Wikipedia that Filmation has made so much more.

Pitty that Filmation doesn t make them anymore.

Still wish for a Filmation restart.

  • This is such a good animated serie!!! Loved it as a kid and now i feel so nostalgic watching this... xD

  • We are in desperate need of tabs/sheets of this, or someone making a proper version of this without the voice overs.

  • it beautiful cartoon for children.

  • ZOROOO!!! I SAW THIS EPISODE AS A KID!!!

  • I used to love this

  • who voice Diego here, I not sure was it Guy Williams who did the Disney Series, cause it animated just as the orginal was

    one of Filmations best

  • This was the best Zorro in my opinion....Filmation really did their animations well.

  • @loftybutcontrite

Believe it or not, this was the only time that Filmation outsourced the animation to another company, namely TMS (Tokyo Movie Shinsha), which is why it looks different from all the other Filmation productions.

TMS created Galaxy High, Bionic Six and Might Orbots, as well as providing animation for Visionaries, Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers, Tiny Toons, Batman:TAS, Cybersix, and others. They also do anime (of course). Wiki up their credits and see.

  • @MezTZO However the design was still done by Filmations house designer - and Zorro was animated in-house by Filmation themselves because he was too important to send overseas. Lou hated to do it, but they were too busy to do a good job on the entire series in 1981 - so they sent most of the work overseas.

  • I think I remember this

  • nice guys wahhh

  • Looks like this show was really well done. Can't believe I never got to see it.
