I fell in love with the Seed and Feed the first time I saw them perform at the Inman Park Festival. Not only do they bring fun, laughter, sequins, and an explosion of colour to every performance, they genuinely love their audiences and relish in the joy they bring to every event.
I love this band. Who else gets to dress up in fun, colorful costumes and delight audiences with music and street theater that's fun for the whole family in unexpected places every weekend?
I love the Seed and Feed Marching Abominable. The group makes the World a happier, brighter place, spreading joy, laughter, and glitter wherever they go.
The Seed and Feed Marching Abominable is a volunteer community band and is currently in its 35th year. Headquartered in Little Five Points, it practices and plays regularly. The band plays charity and community events and has lent its support to the Inman Park Festival, the American Cancer Society, Earth Day events, and other charities. It plays weddings, birthdays, Special Olympics, bar mitzvahs, you name it, and occasional corporate events. Look out for this joyful Atlanta Institution!
As usual, the media gives a one sided version of the S & F band. I would love to give MY version & facts of the way i was treated. After performing at 90% of their gigs, they thank me by kicking me out, treating me like a pedophile/murderer , & even telling other members NOT to associate with me. Yet, they left pics up on their site with MY image. I had to threaten legal action to get them removed. JOIN AT YOUR OWN RISK.
It's a shame that no one mentions their DISCRIMINATION toward EX MEMBERS. Or the DRUG/SUBSTANCE ABUSE that runs rampant in that group. There's allways 2 sides to a story. When i was kicked out, i received a certified letter saying 'based upon your performance at the Fox Theater'. Only thing is, I DID'NT DO ANYTHING WRONG AT THE FOX THEATER! And the bastards still wont tell me what i did to get kicked out.
Saw them at the Spolletto festival in Charleston SC. They are loads of fun. They did a blitz at the middle of a festival. It was great.
