This video is excellent, especially the first segment, nicely synced. LT instilled fear in the minds of his opponents. He was a beast. Like it is in martial arts, fear is also an essential part of football, I think. Goodell is going to soften the League to the point where nobody has anything to be afraid of out there. You don't have to have injuries in the NFL for it to be exciting, but you do need beasts like LT scaring QBs shitless sometimes. The guys that don't get scared are the great ones.

Part of the reason he was as good as he was is that he knew the other teams offense inside and out, knew what every player on both teams roles were, knew every single "tell" of every QB in the league etc. Theres tons of stories of LT sleeping in meetings, getting called on to explain a play, and doing so perfectly.
