The GM cannon is by far the best creation you have. I think its nice to build a mobile suit that was not brought to the U.S. It shows how much you love gundam lol

how did you paint the gm cannon

in answer to this and another comment, painting them is hard as they are a different plastic than models. so far i've had very bad luck painting them. the gm cannon, is the best method i've found which is not very great, but works... i painted it, and then coated it with nail polish.

i painted a pink char zaku green, and clear coated it too, but the paint scratches right off....

more research is needed. ; (

Have you tried to sand the MSIA figures' factory clear coat off before you painted them ? It's there and sanding will get it off and allow new paint to stick.

lol, actually thats been the next step i took here recently. learn as you go i guess. lol

thankyou for the suggestion though. im hoping that it will have good results. a custom i built a few weeks back had custom painted parts sanded, and clear coated, well see how he does. : )

wow, really?! lol im looking at my strike gundam right now and the head looks totally different.. you're really good at making custom gundams.. last time i tried to make my own custom gundams i ended up breaking some of them and losing a bunch of pieces...

I think the Axel will look better without the purple IMO. Other than that, they're very impressive. Especially love the GM Custom and the Long Cannon.

i would agree with your opinion. just a lack of color choices for m.s. when not painting LOL.

Still think i did pretty good on balancing the color scheme. dark with forest green to look tough, but enough white to let you know its still a feddy good guy. LOL.

I agree it does have a good balance. I just think the purple's unnecessary since there's so little of it on the Axel. But I suppose it's too late to re-color it since you've already take footage of it for your episodes. lol

I recently spent a week or two painstakingly painting a chars (pink) zaku 2 to be a dark forest green....... yeah.... the paint scrapes right off even after clear coating it..... wasted 2 weeks painting it too. now it will be one of the zakus that end up on fire in our series. lol

glad i didnt paint the axel, would have been worse.
