who is keith haring?

Keith Haring was a good friend of Madonna's both before & after she became famous. He was a graffiti artist whose work I most remember being on Swatch watches and T-Shirts. His design can be seen on the Jacket Madonna is wearing for the opening Dress You Up number from The Virgin Tour. Keith died of AIDS (I believe in the late 80's) and in Truth or Dare/In Bed With Madonna, she dedicates one of her shows to Keith.
