  • Does this motherboard have the ability to unlock a 960t to 6 cores?

  • Thanks! I have AMIBIOS and I'm jealous, love ASUS but I don't like American Megatrends, everything works and all but I have that empty spot in my love for my motherboard due to AMIBIOS D= just don't like AMI's layout meh

  • i ve got also;

    gigabyte 990-fxa-ud5

    AMD FX-6100 3.30ghz

    GSKILL Ripjaws 8gb 1600mhz

    Asus EAH HD6950 DCII 2gb DDR5

    Cooler Master RS700 psu

now im on my desktop and when i check my task manager and choosing performance section on CPU usage history just see 4 cores are shown(why not 6 cores) and after that on my desktop i right click on my computer then properties and that i have 8gb ram mounted but 3.25 usable... pls anyone help, whats the solution?? my mail 5426232@gmail.com thanx..

  • @orhansolo is the windows os installed 32 bit or 64 bit .... if its the 32 bit edition then it can only use 4 GB of ram (approx 3.25 usable) ....

for the cores issue install a program called CPU-z and on the cpu tab of the program u will be able to see how many cores are detected ...

well if you used a hard disk from an old build u may need to reinstall the os again

  • i've got BSOD using this mobo

  • @TheWozCom

Make sure you have the 8 pin plugged on your Motherboard. You will find it next to the CPU

  • @TheWozCom mite be your ram

  • 1.66 volts? ur gonna fry the thing!

  • @bigmac575 Many RAM modules are classified for 1,65V voltage MY corsair Dominator is also made for that and its capable of taking up to 1,95V.

  • um...you don't respond to past comments do you? :(

  • No UEFI that sucks I was hoping for UEFI like asus

  • Good video, thanks.

  • was that 4.2ghz overclock stable?

i have the ud-7 and it seems to have weird things with voltage regulation even at 4.0ghz with my 1100t. were you using a 1100t? everyone seems to be having this problem with the ud-5s and 7s.
