  • smokin' ganja... to praise and honor shiva!!!

  • He has one dreadlock that's, uh, in honor of Shiva. I ask him then "why don't you have dreadlocks all over?", he said, "because you know, i'm uh, pupupu ep hepepep ngngngng unununun iziziz etetet unun ngng to have dreadlocks all over."

  • thanks for an amazing wake n' bake!

  • @hemptime123 seriously this is not the entire herb garden...i knew immediatly when i didnt hear anything about the banjankri

  • @hemptime123 Its hallucinogen...which is still simon posford but that's probably why it has a bit of a different style

  • GMS Shpongle is the B-E-S-T

  • Purity...

  • There is 5 min and 15 min version. That new for me. I have Mystery of the Yeti II, on cd. It changed the idea ofmachine music. 2, and 3. track is perfect. Shpongle chnges too my idea ofpsytrance. I got on vinyl "Infinite Excursions Sampler" it inclued Shpongle – Rumours Of Vapours. An another side is TIP logo. There is an another version on this same 2x12" and B-side is "Mystery Of The Yeti – Part 2". Can somebody tell me, what this is??

  • Entheogenic and Shpongle = 2 legends of a generation, perhaps even a century.

  • "There is a war on drugs, but I surrendered

  • abridged for time? isnt the youtube time limit 10 minutes?

  • near*

  • Playing sake on this is ear impossible

  • This and Divine Moments of fucking Thruth RULES!!!!

  • Some songs sound good on acid. Shpongle doesn't, shpongle is MEANT for acid, very different. its like you take it, and you're missing something, a goal or something, and then shpongle comes on and the puzzle that is you is finaly complete.

  • Search for: "the herb garden" and take video number 3.

The white 1 with the teddybear/monkey. Its the full version of the song :)

    -Enjoy

  • MILKDROP IS THE BEST!!! SHPONGLE IS TOO!!!

  • Which Shpongle album is this off of? GREAT song!

  • The real song is 14:37 minutes long.

  • This is Originally from:

The Infinity Project - The Mystery of The Yeti - part 2 - 02 - Hallucinogen - The Herb Garden.

It is done an injustice with this extraction, but it gives the flavor. Why do people feel the need to mutilate tracks? Isn't it enough to upload without permission?

  • The video wouldn't let me look away. O:

  • beautiful.

  • shpongle is the shit

  • My English teacher told us he had an "Herb Garden." I'm pretty sure they're not your average herbs. . .

    ;]

  • Fuck gun control!

  • from which album is this song?

  • is this video a recorded salvia trip?

  • @PersoonB how the fuck can you record what someone perceives???

  • @mudbunnyt there is a machine that can rocord the things you see in your brain ;)

I saw it on television once, they recorded a LSD trip...

  • @PersoonB Bullshit.

  • @Nitrousoxide2k whatever dude...

  • The Herb Garden is not about Weed. Weed is nice, but that is not what this song is about.

  • Thanks to Napster, in the olden days of the long long ago, I was able to discover both Hallucinogen and Shpongle through this uber-track, and later Ott. If you are lucky enough to stumble on this, and you don't know what I'm talking about, there is a magnificent and unbelievable musical journey awaiting you...

  • this is actually hallucinogen on the album itself, which is strange because raja is definately doing his thing in it :P

  • very nice ;)

  • I love psy genres. The amount of effort put into the song with each individual sound, me being a music producer , I have a lot of respect for perusers and makers of psy genres because it isn't easy stuff to make, introducing sounds without being aware they have been introduced and making intresting stuff. WICKED!

  • Whoa my mind feels so much better! i love herbs (ganja)!! :)

  • @FuhrerLink awesome, though I trust you'll read into the points I mentioned alot more. It's been a while since i read up on it all, because i'm like "fuck it, the law hasn't imposed itself upon my own weed smoking, don't give a shit" (of course though, I know it does affect other people, which is why i'll still support initiatives for legalisation)

  • who made weed illegal?

  • @CopyriteInfringement read up on harry anslinger, i've forgotten alot but he was basically a racist fuck, first commissioner of the federal bureau of narcotics. basically, i think he was lobbied by a fuckload of rich tychoons who didn't want hemp products to outcompete them (one in the newspaper industry who had invested alot in the timber industry didn't want hemp paper bein made for example), and anslinger used depression era fueled racism and phoney doctors to get it banned.

  • @CopyriteInfringement he instigated the use of the term "marijuana" because of its connotations with mexicans who took american jobs for cheap in the depression. i believe he also pulled on its use with blacks, especially within the NOLA jazz scene. and of course, the newspaper tychoons didn't just lobby. they published press to support anslinger (also look up "yellow journalism"). wasn't just them though, fuel & plastics can be made from hemp. the crude oil industry didn't like that.

  • EINSTIEN WOULD BLOW HIS F'ING SMARTY-PANTS OFF *in between eargasams!*

  • Marijuana.

  • OMG! i found it.....chec out my beats on my page

  • smokin one right now...................... sooooooooooooooooo nice. and most of all that fluuutttttteeeeeee da bbboooooommmmmmmmbbbbbb

  • Would I be able to score MDMA or psychedelics at one of these concerts?

  • @normtheclone haha of course you could probly ask shpongle himself

  • thumbs up!

    bom bom shiva shakti!

  • banjankry

  • he has one dreadlock, thats in honor of shiva.

  • Shiva And Shakti

  • energy is matter and matter is energy. E=mc^2 !!!!

c^2 is the conversion ratio between the two, this is not psuedo science, it's A-Level physics.

  • @tom6284 idk thast ddiow opok tiuop treiop yuim guioruis tryes de .E am. !j ^k as toip

  • it kinda like an aural explanation of an acid trip from start to finnish.

loved the end bit. so chillaxin

  • this potential is based on human "free choice" and the whole way humans subjectively think

if you truly understood what DMT shows you and understood what you're really saying you would see how these concepts are neglectable as they all are.

  • one way or another energy is believed to be potential which is nothing more but a number assigned to subjectively perceived objects based on nothing more but other ghost factors, so even if expected or not.

nonetheless we are the matter that is formed initially as an expression of influence in absolute void

take e=mc2 for example... e is nothing but a symbol to express the idea of mass's energy potential in the case of interaction

no intervals, no objects, no time, just reality flowing as one

  • psychadelic.....

  • It's actually Simon P without raja ram as far as I know..

  • that bass line is fucking tight!

  • what's with all the hippy clichés and namaste this and namaste that

you dont have to believe in odd gods like shiva or w/e to have a perfectly sober view on reality as one unit with its motion - ultimate relativity

no such thing as energy or whatever human defined odd concepts or symbols

  • @stealthy17 wow you're stupid.

  • @Matt1002029

no buddy, i don't have to rely on retarded concepts and names - that's all.

it's a way of thinking not how you name stuff that matters.

  • @stealthy17 ...

  • @stealthy17 no such thing as energy? Look around you YOU are energy.

  • @romka4567

no buddy - we are matter

energy is a retarded mathematical concept.

  • @stealthy17

"you dont have to believe in odd gods like shiva or w/e to have a perfectly sober view on reality as one unit with its motion - ultimate relativity"

It's a shame how few people understand that.

I contend that nobody appreciates nature like the NATURALIST appreciates nature.....

    isn't THIS enough?

    JUST this World?

JUST this beautiful, complex, wonderfully unfathomable, NATURAL world?

psychedelics just make the fact that nature is all there is all the more evident to me....

  • Comment removed

  • @pervertedpenguin69

It's amazing how often I come across that objection to naturalism. The way I see it you have it backwards. First of all to say "without a doubt" is patently absurd. To quote Voltaire: "doubt is an uncomfortable position, but certainty is absurd".....

With that said, there is ZERO concrete evidence of any type of afterlife. For you to say that life, therefore, isn't worth living is even crazier than the notion that there is an afterlife at all...

    con't

  • @pervertedpenguin69

You have it backwards because if there were an afterlife that were desirous, why wouldn't you just kill yourself to get there faster?! If I think there is no afterlife, I would want to prolong the ONE short life that I get as much as possible, and make the most of it while it exists.....

  • Comment removed

  • @pervertedpenguin69

You didn't address my argument. You just moved on to your next unfounded "reason" for believing in an afterlife. And the freaky deaky coincidence arguments get you nowhere either. Coincidences happen, it's as simple as that. Coincidences are to be expected in a planet with 7 billion interacting people. I would be shocked and more ready to believe in something "greater" than the universe if there were NO coincidences, now THAT would imply intervention in my view...

  • @4tabula2rasa0 if you dont believe in God ill beat yer ass. lol just joking

  • @pervertedpenguin69

hahaha....the sad thing is, is that how religion, faith, and belief have been mostly spread throughout history. By threats of physical harm. Besides the fact that this is completely absurd because you can't control people minds (at least not yet muahahaha) it is simply wrong to force beliefs like that. Now I know you're only kidding, but your quip raises a point.

Besides that I'm just trying to get you to think about the subject perhaps more than you previously have.

  • @4tabula2rasa0 Or is it?!

  • @pervertedpenguin69

Basically, my point is you don't have to be scared that there might not be a god or an afterlife. Just enjoy the shit out of this life and make the most of it. Since I'm meeting you on a shpongle video page, I'm guessing that you got that part covered. But I'm telling you....the more you philosophize and learn about science and such, you'll find that there is no evidence for any gods, demons, angels, etx. and thast scary word "atheism" isn't so bad.

  • @4tabula2rasa0 annunaki

  • @pervertedpenguin69

Imagine a densely populated group of animated dots randomly moving about on a sheet of paper. Now eventually a few of these dots are going to "bump into" other dots. This constitutes a coincidence, and is to be expected to follow from the natural order of things. Now, you can see all the dots at the same time, and imagine that every time 2 or more dots were on course to "bump into" each other but changed course at the very last moment, and therefore miss each other..con't

  • @pervertedpenguin69

    con't from previous:

The fact that the dots miss each other because they unexpectedly changed course is an absence of coincidence. To me this absence of coincidence is what would imply some sort of "divine intervention".

With that said, it is also a common misconception that coincidence is rare. It is not, and therefore to be expected in a NATURALISTIC universe.

There is a genius video by YT user QualiaSoup titled "it *could* just be coincidence".....you should watch it!

  • Comment removed

  • @4tabula2rasa0 I never really appreciated the beauty and perfectedness of nature untill i tripped shrooms, but there is much more to this world than we know.

  • @jewsmakingmovies

Why did you add the conjuction "but" in that statement? Of course there is much more to this universe than we know, as our species started from a state of utter ignorance...as far as we know we are the only fully self aware species, but we depend on our grossly inadequate sensory perception. Hence, the importance of the scientific method. We depend on the painstakingly slow accumulation of knowledge attained by our ancestors, in which there still exists wide gaps to fill.

  • @4tabula2rasa0 True, though instincts tell us to be scared... once your scared, you want to get out. out of this world and perhaps into the arms of god?

  • @hel112

Our instincts tell us to be scared only of things that pose an immediate threat of harm. We have the ability to overcome any fear of a concept, even if the concept is based in reality, like death. We might fear certain ways of dying, but we shan't fear death itself.

Fear is for the religiuos man, not the scientific man.

  • @4tabula2rasa0 well said.

im convinced, exept for the fact i saw people living in fear whom choosen for the path of god in their worst fear-scenario. im not talking about some horror by the way, think more of cancer-kinda scenarios.

although this is not an immediate threat, i would put this under "instincts that seem to prefer the solve of god" rather then rely on their scientific knowledge. even i detect myself of some praying sometimes. kind of hating myself cause of it haha.

    nice talking tou!

  • @hel112

Yeah you're probably right, but we as humans need to work on that instinctual fear of the unknown. Science is definitely usually not instinctual, especially the results. We as humans depend on our 5 very inadequate senses to discover reality. We are subject to huge errors and faulty perception based on those senses. This is what makes science an invaluable tool. The scientific method filters out human preconceptions, misconceptions, and biases.

    Thanks for your input!

  • @4tabula2rasa0 I see what you did there, quoting Tim. :-)

  • Nice 2 find some new music that makes u wanna brew a cup of psilosybine tea and light a spliff of sensi. =)

  • @humanslol - let me tell you; ive been playing 'string' instruments for years, and hand drums, didgs, hermonicas, boxes,...all of it...but to make sounds like sphongle, 'electro' sounds, takes just as much or MORE talent. it takes true genius...

  • smoke flowers not leaves

  • I love fungis :]

  • Plants are my Gods.

  • don't you think listing this as a different artist is insulting to Mystery of the Yeti?

  • old boy takes u somewhere else live...i fuckin love shpongle!

  • It is "Mystery of the Yeti - The herb garden"

  • 8 people need to take some drug or something

  • Is this song known by any other name? I have all Shpongle albums but I can't find this one!

  • @slowwormz its by mystery of the yeti

  • This is so easy to get lost in, i have one of their albums and ive been listening to it for months, but you know, shpongle is a journey, so its hard to know exactly where im at in the album, its tough remembering the names of the tracks and where to find them, because it all mixes together. In short, i love it

  • one of the best tracks ever!

  • 7 people have greened out while watching this.

  • it is my dream to one day own a couple of acres of greenhouse, and just grow loads of tea, weed, salvia, peyote, san pedro and shrooms, and i'd turf the floor and walk barefoot, and then i could live with them in some hazey and not quite with it nirvana. plants are awesome. don't you just love gregor mendel and david attenborough?

  • Comment removed

  • @rabbitspliff May you one day achieve this dream, as it is very similar to mine :D

  • @rabbitspliff Hope you realise you'r dream one day,i also love plants!

  • @rabbitspliff I like watching Planet Earth if that counts.

  • @normtheclone indeed, but don't just stick to planet earth. david attenborough has presented and narrated a whole wealth of other good nature documentaries.

  • @rabbitspliff Do you have any recommendations?

  • @normtheclone If you're a fan of Planet Earth, then Life (released in 2009) is probably a good starting point, as it's in the similar, shiny production style with Attenborough narrating but not actually out there. It's what i'd say is one of the best filmed ones alongside Planet Earth, but not David Attenborough at his best.

(I'll carry on in another comment).

  • @normtheclone (continued from last comment) To give a good example of David Attenborough at his best, "Attenborough in Paradise and other Personal Voyages" Is a good collection of one-off specials, where his flare and enthusiasm really shows, with him actually being filmed out there. Others I'd recommend are Life on Earth (1979), The Life of Mammals (2002), and I personally also enjoy Life in the Undergrowth (2005) and, of course, The Private Life of Plants (1995).

  • @normtheclone One more note to make, I'd recommend saving up and buying a box set, best option I'd say is The Life Collection. Get that, Life and Attenborough in Paradise. The Life Collection box set was actually released before Life in the Undergrowth, and Life in Cold Blood, and some box sets haven't been updated, so if you get one that's lacking either/both, I'd recommend buying those as well. Then you'll be set for a while.

  • @rabbitspliff just walking into that greenhouse youd start tripping your dick off ;p

  • @rabbitspliff you and me both vancouver canada sounds like a good place to grow though :] and astral project every day.

  • @rabbitspliff jaa man thats also my dream. and some old little house nearby where i sleep on my matress nearby where i can sleep, an open fireplace for cooking, an old typwriter and vinyl-player and some colors and canvas and a drum.

  • @rabbitspliff build an earthship

  • @trevronwithtechron good idea. that plus the possibility of fab tree hab becoming reality in the near future. in all honesty, i actually can't believe such forms of living aren't as widespread already, bar adobe houses in hotter and less well off countries. it's amazing how easily we could actually integrate the facilities and amenities we in the consumerist west take for granted, into green living.

  • @rabbitspliff my dream is to thizz off life and experience life to the fullest

  • how do plants and animal murge? methinks u need to stop smoking.

  • i have one dreadlock too....with three beads. no need to fill ure head with them.

  • Man, I need to check out more of this music.

  • yes yes yes plants and humans are one.

  • raja ram reinvented the flute

  • i'm have now achieved enlightment.

  • Simon Posford, AKA: T.I.P. (The Infinity Project), Dragonfly, Anubis, Audio Chemistry, Axis Mundi, Baba G, Beast, Binah, Celtic Cross, DSP, Dub Trees, Flight, Fly Agaric, Gargoyles, Growlmonizer, Industrial Suicide Tribe, Infernal Machine, Mandala, Metal Sharon, MP3, The Mystery Of The Yeti, Nomads Of Dub, North Central Positronics, Psykov, Purple Om, Shpongle, Subkha, Twisted Allstars or Younger Brother.

Sometimes a song has been released by him a second or third time under another name.

  • @spunkmeyer

So it is no wonder people sometimes are confused about who has made a particular song of his. :)

(also, for truth, not all of these aliases are ONLY him. Sphongle for example, is Posford and Raja Ram working together.)

  • @spunkmeyer You forgot hallucinogen.

  • @Xxero0 lol

  • @Xxero0

    and Walter Ego

  • Legalize weed! It's from this earth! It's a plant for crying out loud!!! You don't necessarily need to smoke it!

  • Yes Shpongle makes me hate the government man.

  • @JulianVerdeguer Shpongle doesn't make me hate a thing. In fact I see hate as an impossible emotion under Shpongle. But I will never waiver in feeling bad for this country. Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness would be an amazing culture if we perceived it differently.

  • @seancloonan22 Google the definition of Shpongle.

  • FUCK THE GOVERNMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thumbs up if you praise Shiva by smoking ganja

  • @crysoar9

    Shiva shiva shiva shiva shiv!

  • in honor of shivaaa
