I think egoraptor was amazing here, but what is actually so wrong with the dub they gave Gurren Lagann? Everyone disses it and i'v heard alot of anime and they pull it off very well... It's most likely because people prefer the first voice they here and alot of anim fans would have heard the jap dub first, but i heard the eng dub first and i really like it. I can tell good dubs from bad (E.g Naruto's vice is extremely annoying in the dub) bu the GL Dub was decent
