  • Corker, the GOP had 8 years to do anything on health care. Your party did nothing.

  • The Dems if they didn't want to change the employer based health care system should of just passed the Wyden-Bennett bill.

  • Senator Corker is trying to derail hr1207 The bill to Audit The Fed. Call him at 202-224-3344.

  • Rungy07, once you play the "murdering women and children" card, you have ZERO credibility. And stop making up numbers.

And Laocoon142, do you really think that your Dr. is going to get paid better if the Government is in charge of health care?? Every single "Single Payer" proponent out there has said that Dr's get paid too much and need to take cuts! Even the president!!

I must say that Sen. Corker is the first politicians that I've ever been proud to have voted for. Keep up the good work.

  • Senator, I would like to thank you for your honesty and truthfulness. What I have admired most about you is that you tell it like it is and stand up for what you believe. I could not be prouder to have you representing me in the Senate. Keep up the good work and dont let the Democrats get you down, it wont be long before well correct that imbalance thing.

  • Second that & AMEN! Sen. Corker helps to redeem TN from the scourge of the Gores, including "Mr. Environmentalism" himself, routinely one of the state's worst agricultural polluters b4 the zinc mining operation went belly-up. TN does have some good ones, & not all the dems are self-serving goons. I believe I'd vote for Lincoln Davis in a minute if in his district. But it's clear Sen. Corker absolutely is a keeper!

  • Low tax, low service here in Tennessee and Corker is taking it to Washington also. I'd like to see my doctor get paid decently, for once. He is threatening to close his doors if he can't get paid enough. I represent my doctor's view.

Sen. Corker is flat wrong, and is this case is not representing the best interests of his constituents. Engaging in generational warfare is not the way to come up with a rational solution to healthcare. This man needs to reorder his priorities.

  • Senator Corker is is a self-made financial success who unlike most of his associates in the Senate, understands how the economy works. He has good ideas on how to get the country re-energized.

Unlike many of his associates in both houses of Congress. he wants to do the right things for the country not what is politically expedient.

This health care reform legislation has all the makings of a real train wreck. bankrupt our country.

    .

  • I want SINGLE PAYER, put HR 676 BACK ON THE TABLE, plenty of republicans in ALABAMA SUPP{ORT SINGLE PAYER too, GOOGLE IT!

  • People who think this is going to be great and free go read it especially the section that states in lieu of tax credits you will get a loan for 50% which the IRS will take out of your tax return...you will also have to answer to the behaviorial and preventative care comissioner aka czar... and that is just 2 short sentences in a 2000+ section bill

1500 pages and War & Peace is only

    1, 465 pages...WTF!

    Hope & Change...Mmmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm

  • Income tax represents 1/3 of the money collected by the IRS.

And last year, every PENNY of income tax was used for WARS and BAILOUTS

Rather than murdering women and children with the money, might I suggest healing our sick with it instead?

    Just a thought....

Oh...and the 70% of corporations that do business in our country that do not pay taxes...that needs to end....either everybody pays or no one pays, time to clean up the corruption...or maybe we should STOP paying taxes?

  • I congratulate you on having the guts to call a spade a spade and point out that obama and his administration are lying through their teeth on this healh care reform issue. You also have the balls to see and point out the selfishness that is going on in our government; people that care nothing for the ones that voted them in office just their own political/party's gain.

  • Selfishness? Caring for unfortunate people who have been kicked off their private insurance plans simply because they got sick....that's selfishness?

  • watch the video again, then watch it one more time, then when you get done doing that, reread my comment. Aboslutly NOTHING about people getting kicked from their insurance policies because they are sick. But what you will find is comments about people who 1) lied their arse off to get into office like obama did. and or 2) they have sold themselves out and care nothing at all about what the voice of the public is and cast their vote in the direction of the most money.

  • Selling out to the health insurance companies, like Blue Cross, is what Corker has done.

Obama has not lied. He only got more votes than your candidate!

  • The only problem is that he no longer has a majority of those votes. A recent poll shows that Americans by 58% want a Republican President.
