Ed. from The Ohio State Universityin 2010....I graduated in the spring so that I meant I got to walk and get my diploma in the Shoe. It was an overcast day---typical for Spring in Ohio, and my wife asked why I was wearing my sunglasses. I told her, 'because I am going to cry during Carmen Ohio!" I do EVERY TIME!
@IH8H8ers123 if you graduate in the spring you get to graduate in the Shoe...only in the spring. It is AMAZING. They play the victory bell while you get your degree and it is truly breath taking to look around and see 8,000 graduates plus all the people there to see them walk. My family and I had to move to Virginia for me to take a teaching job. We miss OHIO ever day...we will be back.
@IH8H8ers123 congrats for being accepeted, I hope you do well and in four years become part of one of the largest and proudest alumni bases in the world. You will find when you are there while the football atmosphere is unrivaled there is oh, so much more to make you proud to be a Buckeye...being here in VA, I bet I could yell out O-H...and get at least 2-3 I-O's back in reply. Being a Buckeye means more to me than Gold Pants, The Shoe, Brutus or 3 Yards and a Cloud of Dust. It is TBDBITL, it is the Oval, Mirror Lake, High Street, Buckeye Grove and Traffic and Parking pouncing on your 3 seconds after you park out of zone. All I have to say to the rest of college football is 'be afraid, be VERY, VERY afraid! GO BUCKS.
