T5 lighting good choice. White gravel... not my favorite ... generally it subtracts from the fish when the decorating is not dense enough to take away from the lighter gravel... but ... you decorated appropriately. I wish more people would realize that they do not decorate thier tanks heavily enough. spend the $ make your fish happy.
@ouchh100 i do not quite understand your problem with the live plants. they look just fine and with certain fish why invest in the $ with live plants if they are not going to be cared for properly!?
Wow I want to work for you guys... I really love and enjoy being around fish and I know how to aquascape really good... I have actually have aquascape lots of tanks of friends... I live in. Charlotte North Carolina and if eny one need some aquascape and lives in Charlotte North Carolina and needs the help just let me know at Romeo9229@gmail.com... I have worked with goldfish to cichlid to crayfish to tetras... I love this hobby...
Question. What is that soft line called you have generating the bubbles? Is there a specific name for it? I obviously know what common bubble curtains and disc are, but I've never seen that tubing that generates the slow, spread out, calmer bubbles.
i actually liked the first lighting system better. It begins to give it somewhat of a blackwater effect, but its not great for the plants... so i guess it had to go.
hey i wanna get my first 55 gallon fishtank and i am planning to get the stuuff i need online. so can u tell me what kind of hood lighting and filter u got? THANK YOU!!
Why can't women do anything themselves? If they have the money they'll hire a cook, a maid, a technician who can turn on a satellite receiver, a mexican landscaper, a decorator.... and most notably; a "Fish tank designer"
@10majfar EXCUSE ME? I clean my own house, I wash down my own toilet, I scape my OWN fish tanks. I do all my own yard work, and I find your Mexican comment seriously racist. Women do way more work than men do. We are required to work a full time job, birth your kids, and then care for them, get dinner on the table, and clean the shit stains out of your boxers. You need to shut the hell up. and btw My mom makes 7 figures a year and does all her own yard work and house work. just fyi.
@10majfar racist bastard.... woman do a lot of things you will never... i can let you one of my lady friends... makes 6 figures a year, did her own work to her drift car building from the ground up, and is a single mother.. go sit in the corner and slap your self hard...
guys asking about the light... more or likely just a new bulb.. if you are getting yellow/orange coloring your kelvin temp. is more or likely 3,000k to 6,500k. try for a 7,500k to a 10,000k you get more blue and it will give a more bright look to the aquarium... me i like 6,700k to 10,000k but that's just me because of my plants...
@videosantiguos go into a petshop and ask. i've to a bulb light and it's like purplish which i don't like at all. i wanna get a bright white light like the one he has
I'm redoing my 55 too, and so far a got soil then gravel then a few plants but want to know where to get some driftwood. Or is it ok to use driftwood that I find, just pressure wash it then boil it?
Wow; major transformation! What do you use for the random bubbles? I've tried an air stone and an airstone "bar" but I love the randomness of whatever it is you're using. Also what type of driftwood is that? Great job on the transformation!
this is the most beautiful video i see on youtube thank you thank you
