Yeah, the chordage isn't real tough (depending on one's style of playing and musical voice) but this in no way lessons the stunning beauty. As with Bach violin concertos for 1 & 2 violins. The idea is a lush, tireless melody over calasthentics.

Poignant and bittersweet it provokes sweeping images in the mind's eye.

It is actually fairly simple to a keyboard player. The bass descends, but the chords only descend in parts, thus causing suspensions. It's all basically suspensions, the main spice for me being the incredibly sad major 7th/6th which then becomes a diminished 7th. Gorgeous.

I wouldn't mind being cremated to this!

I was in Moscow at that time and with a bunch of friemds we tried to get there, but it was mission impossible. since there was like 2 to 3 million people out there. we were repeled by the Omon and spend the next 3 hours trying to get back home (witch was like 3 kilometres away;) it the first time that i actualy see the show;) by hyronie i work now in the same campany that brought JMJ to Moscow!:)

This track was dedicated to Princess Diana. JMJ was a friend of her, and that day (Sept 6 1997) was Diana's funeral, but Jarre didn't attend to it (by obvious reasons, he was in Moscow performing this awesome concert).
