  • woot! This song is both wonderful and relevant

  • I think Pink Floyd would have been nothing without Gilmour, but he's better with Waters.

  • It's almost disrespectful to not listen to this song without listening to the entire album altogether in its entirety lol

  • this song gives me shivers everytime i hear any pink floyd i get goosbumps

  • gilmoure is a fukin genius

  • The words of this masterpiece...just amazing! Everytime I hear this, I can picture myself going through "the motions", as it were, and kind of see my Life's journey up to this point. Don't know if that will make sense to anyone, but to me, the images and feelings are always the same.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID CONGRATULATIONS

  • waters had a much more demented insane and dark outlook/ vision for the music which has made many classic songs but gilmour is one of the greatest guitarists ever and his upbeat sound is a perfect "end sound for a band walking into the sunset" so to say.

  • 2 people have no soul.

This is easily my favorite Floyd album ever.

  • its not enough just to stand and stare....is it only a dream that there'll be no more turning away?

  • david gilmour is not existing without pink floyd=pink floyd is not existing without david gilmour

  • The last great Floyd song, and one of their best. This shit is powerful.

  • a voice that cuts through a clear crystal lake plunging ever deeper into the mysterious world beneath........

  • BRUTALA! :D

  • This is the kind of song that Roger Waters could only dream of writing. That being said I think that he and Gilmour were kind of like yin and yang. Pink Floyd needed both of them to be balanced out.

  • @magtownrep I absolutely agree with you. Another day I've heard David telling the same thing about them

  • @magtownrep couldn't have said it better myself. it's just too bad for them that they can't seem to get over the conflicts that separated them as younger men. maybe that live aid concert helped to mend their old wounds? what they(the whole band) had was a once in a lifetime thing and we as fans were merely privileged to have been an audience to their creativity.

  • @magtownrep Life in general needs a yin and yang. Lennon had McCartney, Leiber had Stoller, Ashford had Simpson, Homer has Marge, and man has woman. Pepsi has Coke, Ren has Stimpy...and so on..haha.

  • if only everyone felt the way i feel when i hear this masterpiece of a song!!!!!

  • cant get tired of it! 0_0 soo awesome!

  • when was album released again?

  • @thereturnwoo It was released in 1987-I believe in August or September.

  • @thereturnwoo 1987..

  • @thereturnwoo yesterday, it's brand new, cool hey

  • Gilmour's voice is so freakin' beautiful.

  • this whole album is amazing

  • Very nice.

  • No More Turning Away!

  • this song is fucking good :D

    that guitar solo briljant

  • Definitely one of the best songs from the album. My favourite is 'Sorrow' but this is a good one.

  • Sorrow is second to one slip, this is third imo

  • Perfect.

  • The "Rich"will turn away.

  • suuuuuuuuuuuuuper pink floyd gillmore foreva
