@Syzygy60 I guess that's why you're at home sitting on the couch and PT & Co. is still touring the world playing to auditoriums, arenas and festivals.
Wow...I just looked Travers up after a very long time and caught this video...He's still smokin' hot...anyone know who the other guitar player is, they sound great together.
@CrazyDad13 That is Mr. Kirk McKim. An awesome guitar player in his own right, Kirk has been working with Pat for several years. They do complement each other very well, don't they?
@TKTurboX Hey, great vid you have anew fan in me love PTB nad am looking forward to A case of the Blues and all that Jazz in my hometown Yakima, Wa.. Will be checking your video library out and enoying the - out of it I'm sure thanks for your contibution to music lovers everywhere u rock Tk!!:)
I actually play with the warm up band for Pat Traverse in Sidney,Oh in the mid 90's. I fell into this fluke gig. I didn't really even know who they were . I played rock organ and we got to play through their sound system. That was the peak of my gig playing career. It was great fun. I felt like a pro for just one night!

i saw pat in the late 70's early 80's at a small club outside of albany NY called the Hulla Balloo. Rose Tattoo opened for him and his show was great. one of the greatest guitarest EVER. i still listen to GO FOR WHAT YOU KNOW, a great live album!
I saw Pat in 1978 in Reno. He and the band went to a local music shop, Bizarre Guitar, and it was fantastic. He and his band and roadies drank about 5 cases of Hieneken while at the shop. The show was FANTASTIC!!

OH folks. Let me tell you. I was in the Navy in the late 70's early 80's and I went to lots of music festivals in southern california. Pat Travers was one of the Best live shows I saw. I saw his band play many many times. In fact I think he was at every show I went to one year. Boom Boom was a great crowd pleaser. This video is not his best performance but it is good. As for hearing the crowd Harbec, well I guess you have never been to a concert. I am sure it was loud!
@Deterlet My apologies, but my agreement with Pat limits me to share this video as promotional material for my live performance video and recording services. Thanks for watching, and please take a moment to look around at some of the other live performance videos on my channel. Performers of all ages, from 9 to 90!
uno de mis grandes heroes de la guitarra pat travers cantemos: No kiddin' I'm ready to fight I've been lookin' for my baby all night If I get her in my sight Boom boom! RIGHT HERE! Out go the lights! No kiddin' I'm ready to go When I find her boy don't you know If I get her in my sight Boom boom! WHAT IS IT? Out go the lights!
Who remembers this rocker? Man, turn on youtube, plug in the headphones, and head back to when life as easy, less hectic, and music was music. Kick back and come on back into the 80's with me.
wow ,talk about old school !!!!!!!! brings back some fun memories of Florida ,in the late 70's ,when it was still Florida !!!!Keg parties,Rock and roll ,sweet natural florida blondes !!!! Pat is a good guitarist ,upbeat party music !!! No whiny bullshit !!!!
TK this video rocks! Pat and his band are at their best. As for M1...you apparently weren't around when this song was a hit. This is very close to the "go for what you know" version.
Wow, sorry you feel that way. I've learned that those who can't, teach, and those you can't teach, critique. This is not the only tune I have of Pat Travers, just the most famous. I feel PT's level of talent is way above most of us. See what you think of "Stevie" or "Elijah," PT's original tunes. mini-Walters could never touch that.
@TKTurboX I saw Pat almost every second weekend when he was with Red Hot. Red Hot was just a local Ottawa band but we knew even then that Pat was something special.
This is beautiful!!! Thank you SO MUCH for posting this. I wore the record out when I was a kid learning this stuff. AWESOME! Makes me feel young again.
Only PAT TRAVERS and his band could get this sooo RIGHT! The riff-the power chords- cool harmonics- percussion- bass - vocals- all packed into a staggering sonic power punch!
Wow the first video that you can go full screen and you can still make out who's who. Get this guy to re-do Joan Jett Do You Want To Touch Me MTV video and Baby Makes Her Blue Jeans Talk from Dr. Hook and I'll Think I died and went to Rock- N- Roll Heaven.
I am now fully autonomous, so as long as I have the artist's permission to capture their show, I'd more than happy to make more. Don't forget to check out the rest of my Pat Travers video collection. I hope to be making more soon! Thanks for the visits!
Actually, that's my fault. In the battle to get decent audio I had to give up my crowd condenser mics. My new rig allows me to have several crowd mics to capture crowd responses better. This video was outdoors at an airfield. There are several hundred motorcycles and bikers you can't see that we yelling.
Now that I understand how this site operates a little better I can now reply and stuff. Yeah, Pat is unable to use the material in a DVD due to new lineup. I am grateful to have his permission to upload pretty much the entire concert.
God bless the digital age! I could sit here and do this for days...
