This is very historic video. Kudos for uploading a piece of history. It's interesting to note how Matt Lauer and Andy Pargh made sure to point out that VCR's are in no way obsolete. Funny how now about 13 years later, VCR's are virtually obsolete and DVD & Blu-Ray are the leads in the video player business. Also cool how the PVR's (now widely known as DVR's), are a standard for many people and are integrated into many cable devices.
@cello06 And just like how VCR coincided with DVD's in the early 2000's, the same will happen with DVD and Blu-Ray. I say though, the death of the DVD is going to be in another 5 years or so.
