he is such a versatile sarod player, yet unfortunately the people who commented ill of him failed to understand the essence of a Mishra raag and his stature in musicianship...

@ tipsyandy: does being the son of a maestro entitle you to an expert's pedestal? if you want to pose as a sarod expert, why don't you upload some of your music, preferably with video so that one can be sure its you? @ sayaksarode: with his physique, tejen surely needed more riyaz than a fir person to be able to to do what he does. @psarod: going by amjad ali's endorsement, one would be forced to take his sons seriously. or did you mean it as a joke?
those who r saying strange things about Tejen da..one thing i need to tell you.....if Maestro Ustad Amjad Ali khan sahab likes and praises the sarod of any Sarod player in India now then it is only Tejendra Narayan Majumder....so r u saying tht HE (Khan Sahab) does not know sarod....think about this before you say wrong things about this excellent sarod player......thanks
criticism is easy to do but people forget the good sides.tejen majumdar has done a hell of reyaz......try doing that first then upload ur own video and match him.
he tried to play well... but his music is not like a "pandit"... used lot of gimmicks in his performance, which is not acceptable for hindustani classical music, i feel....
