this game really rocks, ps2 have many cool drift games as d1gp and txrd2 and wangang midnight even initial d, but in mah case i have a 360 xbox and there are not to much drift games just shift and forza i wish that we can get sum of these games for xbox like a txrd3 or sumnthing like that cuz even ps3 have a initial d game.
I always seem to have a problem drifting, its I'm going to fast, and the counter steer fucks the drift up putting me in the wrong direction, or the countersteer works as it should but I was going to fast so I end up in the wall on the outside turn. Then if I start to drop my speed, the car either wont drift, or is really unstable. I've tried stock settings, and tons of tuning, even the tuning listed in the book, and nothing works, makes me so mad.
make sure you have your traction control and ABS turned off. And most importantly..... you must be driving a FR or MR. you should be able to drift with stock settings and stock tires
Tell me how you approach the corners first, maybe i can help you. Do you turn first then handbrake or handbrake first then turn.
When I first started I was all about Grip runs, because that's what I do IRL so I know it the best. I always turn Traction Control OFF and ABS OFF since my car IRL doesn't have them, I'll understand the car more in the game.
I just tuned a 85 corolla trueno. I finally got it to where I like. I don't like ripping the ebrake, so I mostly turn and power over, which is difficult but that's how I roll. I started doing the drift gymkana and I got it down pretty good now. I just power over now.
do u no anything about tuning all the cars settings for example like the settings for the alinement , Lsd , and all that stuff cuz i think thats the only thing thats holding me back from drifting as good as you hahaha
dont touch it just learn how to do it with a stock car i can do it with any rwd in the game once you learn the miata stock you can drift any of them once you get the feeling down.
How do you get that car? I have never known that you could get initial d cars on this game. It's amazing.

@gamerboywill94 its all about practice.. it takes months i guess..
in setting up your car, spend juz 2 day/42hours in arranging, testing.. etc.. like Camber, ABS, etc

@gamerboywill94 Nope. The artist for this song is Lou Grant. Most of the opening songs for initial d are done by a japanese group called M.O.V.E
