no its trinidad and tobago.....

when the slaves left the plantations and refused to work... indians came here as indentured laborers in 1845. they have multiplied and is now the second major ethnic group. their culture have been adopted and in some cases modified... giving rise to this music that u are listening to locally called "soca chutney."
