To everyone who bitches about djent not being a genre. All a genre is used to do is to identify a specific sound, so that one can communicate that sound clearly to someone, as communicating sound without a term can be quite abstract. This is all djent is doing. How is it not a genre, and how would the world be better if it wasn't? Is that the most pressing issue of your life is to stop people from saying djent? Go outside.

@recklessreason, from what I understand, Djent is more of a terminology to describe the effects used for the guitar during production. Like taking the low end off the sound so it emphasises the attack of the pick on the strings. That's going on the research I've done so far.

Pretty sick probably one of the most professional and complete sounding EP's I've heard. Kind of like a Periphery, Textures, Misery Signals mix with some good o'l Melo Death acoustic parts. I can't imagine a band getting up on stage and saying "we are "We are the Illusion!" though seems kind of silly. I realize there might be a language barrier but probably gonna need a name change.

@KillerofKool Then people search for "The Illusion" and assume that's what their name is. Imagine if In Flames was called "We are In Flames" or there was a "We are U2" or something it's just not gonna work. Little things like that just make you that much harder to market. Any booking people here in the US would nix a name with "We Are" in it pretty quick. It's probably just a language barrier thing guarantee you if they make it, it will be under a different name.
