  • @mwv1982 I was able to pop them right back into place, without even using a punch. Just press them against something hard and they should go right back. If it becomes a problem, I would follow Ruger's instructions that are in the video description.

  • Response from Ruger... "The pin you are referring to is an insert pin. They are made of nylon and held in by friction only. Tap out the pin from right to left. You will notice one end is not perfectly round. If you squeeze that end in a bench vice or with a pair of pliers and make it a little more oval in shape, then replace it, that should take care of the drifting issue..."

  • get a punch and knock em back into place.

  • @HighAsCaptnKirk That's what I intend to do, but I was thinking that perhaps I should contact Ruger first, just to see if they have any concerns.

  • Ill check my pins on my hard chrome model. You should let people know what serial prefix yours is. I know there are a few

  • All I can say is damn spendy day at the range. That stuff ain't cheap.

  • @SdawgArmy Yup, you're right, but I think it's important to test your carry ammo to make sure that you have something that will function well when you need it.
