you have to always watch them for signs of UTI and take them to the vet right away if you see them preferring to sleep on cold surfaces, staying longer then usual in the litter box, or squatting to pee outside the box, I know the signs now, my maine coone died 2 days ago and i'm heartbroken

I found a one year old male Maine Coon. I tried to find the owner of the cat but couldn't. So I decided to adopt him. I was wondering how much food should I give him daily.
They eat about the same amount as a regular cat. You can give them a bit more, but you should make sure they're active.
I had a main coon for 23 years. They can be big boned and muscular, but don't let them get too fat since they have trouble supporting the weight due to their already large size.
