The accord is not designed to drive on your behalf. It starts to take subtle action in order to altert/warn the driver to complete the required action. Therefore it would not come to a complete stop, it would only start to brake and tighten the belts etc, YOU the driver needs to do the rest. Unlike the lazy Mercedes & others that does everything for you - in which case you shouldn't be on the road driving in the first place
Great video...haven't seen something similar before. However, the Lexus system was more consistent probably because it had more extra space in the parking spot than the others. Also, although the S-Class dpesn't have automatic parking (yet), it does have an excellent system of guiding you step by step to park it, showing the correct path that should be taken and shows if the steering wheel angle is good or not. Merc are also renowned for their excellent turning circles, too.
