  • Lord, I love this song...Patsy Cline must have felt this kind of heartache 'cause she sure sings it with such feeling! I've been crying to this song since Johnny$ broke my heart in 1969 @ SAFB....I've got your picture and it's signed with love, just like it used to be, the only thing different the only thing new I have your picture, she's got you, it's insane I know, but some heartaches never end.

  • carrie, miranda, faith, shania, and all the new country gals.eat yoyur heart out.this is the queen!!!!!needs no back up,no earpiece,no tech, just her voice.

  • This is like a really good ranchera song, but in English.

  • SWEET VIEW #1,000,000!!!!!!!

  • Wow, such a classy voice and such a beautiful woman!....

  • Am I "crazy" or is Patsy wearing a hairband?

  • @twhite113 yes, she is wearing a hairband as this was taped right after she had a serious auto accident and still healing.

  • There simply is none better.

  • this woman sang some broken heart songs like no other RIP patsy

  • shes the number 1 country singer.

  • her eyebrows are uber-uneven and its funny. but of course i must acknowledge her influence on my life. Her music was the first music i ever heard.

  • @chandru1103 This appearance was filmed after Patsy Cline was released from the hospital following a horrific automobile accident. Patsy's forehead was severely lacerated, thereby changing the shape of her brow while it healed.

Her music is, indeed, influential. Her voice is like no other.

  • @llbc86 wow i didnt know that...thanks

  • RIP

  • I have and always will love this beautiful voice.....

  • one of the best female singers of all time

  • When your lover kicked your butts , you love this song for sure .

I wanted to cry but I laugh instead !

  • My grandma's favorite song! I like this song too but I don't hear it as much as she does

  • A Pure Country Angel!!

  • for the 22 people that don't like patsy cline or this song must be really tone deaf or really has a bad taste for real country music, r.i.p patsy cline

  • @demon312003 It does boggle the mind how anyone can "dislike" this...

  • @GrandMaster2350 tell me bout it, although Loretta Lynn is my all time fav country singer, Patsy Cline is in a class all by herself what i mean by that she's above the class, n although Patsy is no longer w/ us but her music will always be w/ us no matter what

  • @demon312003 While I can respect Ms. Lynn as having a great voice I never really cared for the music that much. It's just not catchy like Patsy Cline is. I am also partial to Jeannie Riley.

  • @GrandMaster2350 i'm not gonna deny u of your opinion, thats totally up to u how u feel, like i said i love Patsy Cline, but my all time fav country singer is Loretta Lynn

  • @GrandMaster2350 i'm not gonna deny u of your opinion, thats totally up to u how u feel, like i said i love Patsy Cline, but my all time fav country singer is Loretta Lynn, n also i love Jeannie C Riley

  • The headband she is wearing was used to cover her scars & stiches from her near-fatal head-on collision in June, 1961. In Oct. '61 she recorded "Crazy" in a single take while still on crutches from the crash. The instrumentals were recorded 2 weeks earlier and then fused together to create her classic tune.

When she sang it at the Grand Ole Opry, she received 3 standing ovations.

Over 50 years later "Crazy" is still a classic piece of singing genius. Bravo Patsy!

  • Timeless

  • I LOVE ALL HER SONGS THE WAY SHE SINGS AND THE WORDS SPEAK DIRECTLY FROM THE HEART.

  • this month SEPTEMBER was the month my grandma was born in 1939... she was a big fan of patsy! in memory of my grandmother... i post this as MY JAM OF THE DAY! 9/9/11

  • I JUST LOVE,LOVE,LOVE"PATSY CLINE"! TRULY AN "ORIGINAL" AND IN MY OPINION, UNSURPASSED..................UNSURPASSED!!! THANK YOU FOR THE MEMORIES AND THE GREAT "VIDEO" TOM D. BRICK,NJ. {AT THE SHORE}.

  • So classy. What a voice. Unbelieveably great.

  • Sounds like Connie Francis!

  • True talent.

  • I have heard her but never Seen her before. Brilliant. Thanks for posting.

  • the most AMAZING singer EVER. I love you Patsy. Can't wait to meet you in heaven

  • 21 people don't deserve ears

  • wow o wow her voice!!!!! awesome....

  • the picture is right beside me xx

  • such a powerful, wonderful, incredible voice..

  • @AngelonPlanetEarth No offense to anyone, but I've never been much of an admirer of C&W. That bias acknowledged, Patsy Cline just destroys me. Her phrasing is haunting, her soul is real, and her voice is true. She radiates dignity in the face of the rawness and sufferings that life deals out and never loses her humanity. In fact, it only makes her stronger and even more of a person and an artist. I'll be hittin' this one again.

  • @drjimiboy69 Beautifully put.

  • @drjimiboy69

the magic of talent and soul. gotta love the cline.

  • Angela, I totally agree with you! I fell in love with her singing when I was 15 and was babysitting and the people said I could use their stereo while doing so. They had "I fall to pieces" on a 45. My mouth dropped open! I went home and read up on anything I could find about Patsy Cline! This was in 1966, so it was only a couple of years after her death. She is only country singer whose album I have bought and still have.

  • Patsy is wonderful! I love this song.

  • Love the song and the voice...but what is up with those eyebrows?

  • @jewcowboy

hey joo, she was in an accident, dont be a putz

  • @voxxpopulisuxx

Those brows are in photos of her before the accident. Perhaps it was the style back in the day.

  • @jewcowboy

What a great voice, the bandana and bush brows are a cover-up for blasting her head through a windshield.

yes it looks weird, but don't be a "putz". We all have big scars, just most of us....... have them inside.

regardless, she is a true "American treasure" and i feel lucky just to her her sing

  • @DIXIEJEFF

Point of fact, they are not a cover up for scars. She wore the headband to help alleviate the headaches from the crash, but not to cover up anything. And her brows were like that in photos before the crash. Regardless, she is a true "American treasure".

  • No one can touch patsy when it comes to country a singer taken before her time

    Blindcat02

  • The best female country singer of all time. And so sexy, too.

  • Patsy Cline...you are timeless.

  • Makes altos and yodelers proud! WTG Patsy!!

  • Quite simply the best! nothing since comes close!.... patsy rock's

  • LOVE YOU PATSY!!

  • as always, I've been a huge Patsy fan for years. This is the first time I've seen this clip, and you know, her hairdo could almost be punk in this

  • love her pity shes dead imagine what she sounds like now and how far would she go in the millenium

  • Miss my Baby Love. PGS.

  • Awsome.

  • Great videos. She had the tragic voice of an angel.

  • i dont really love the music today i like oldies way better!! and im only 13 thanks to my mom

  • i was lying in bed and couldnt get to sleep so i started flicking through my music channels and they were on all those annoying advert selling thingy's ( i totally forgot what theyre called ) anyways ! then came up this country CD collection and i heard this song ... im now in love with the cline.

  • @Bushie1988

    gotta love the Cline.

  • @Bushie1988 Snap. Me too. Its called infomercials (or teleshopping on channel info) My Mum had so many Patsy songs that I was surprised I'd never heard this 1 but came across it the same way you did & I (obv) also looked it up. I think this one is advertised on 'The Grand Ol' Oprey' DVD's

  • Haha I just keep clicking on the links from Sara :) i like what ive heard so far.

  • thank you for this!

  • I sure remember listening to Patsy Cline sing on the Grand Ole Opry broadcast live over WSM Radio about 1961. When she was killed in a plane crash, it was the first time in my life that I had experienced the real sense of loss that comes with death. Even after all these years, the feeling never really went away. I knew that I was listening to something special then, and in comparison to all of the other singers that I have heard since, Patsy Cline was and still is, something special.

  • @101iluvamerica yes i love her music too! i'm 14 ! :) my mom listens to this song all the time and im in love with it

  • sara !! :D my hero forever

  • My dad always listened to classic rock and heavy mettle. When i was 8, he died and my mom was going through some of his things and i discovered that he loved Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash. I'm 15 now, and have come a long way since then and every time i hear Patsy's voice it makes my day just a little bit better.

  • Years ago when I was in school I would walk home for dinner. Mama always had the radio on and many times I can remember Patsy singing. She has always been my favorite female singer. I'm an old man now and have heard many good singers, but still waiting to hear a voice that matches Patsy. I don't think there will ever be one. Keep playing Patsy's music.

  • @farmmur You're right. There will only ever be one Patsy. Others will come close, and there are lots of other good singers out there, but Patsy is in a class all her own.

This coming from a 14 year old male.

  • @mashmusic11235 I'm glad there are at least a few young people who appreciates the older music. I was about your age when I started playing with a rock band. As soon as I could I switched over to country and played semi-professional lead guitar for many years. I still do a gig every once in awhile of country or bluegrass. Please stay active in country music.

  • Patsy Cline is Simply amazing

  • this woman will absolutely NEVER die..its impossible

  • Seat belts were not invented yet, the head band covered the scar too

  • patsy cline had a very classy beautiful voice one of a kind singer, i cant say much for singers today thats why i choose to listen to old school music.

  • All i can say to 'Him' is that i know i wasn't the first broken heart he caused, and i know i won't be the last...... I just hope the poor cow who has fallen under his spell this time will learn what a cheating using lying waste of time he is quicker than i did.... DJGP = Cheater! Liar! Total Arsehole!!

  • She said all that I feel

  • That voice was effortless! She just sang naturally. Fifty years after her death, her recordings are still selling. She is, and always will be, simply the best.

  • Sara Quin, you've had an interesting impact on YouTube--Now after watching the Pariah trailer, "She's Got You" by Patsy Cline is the first suggested video:)

  • Patsy was the best. LeAnn can compare favorably. Very few others can. Brenda Lee is in that class.

  • This woman had "pipes"......by all accounts saucy and her ability to fit in with her time period, to market her voice. Not everyone can sing true country, rock-a-billy and don't forget she has the voice to sing with a full orchestra. She would be just as hailed if she appeared in todays music.....talent is timeless.

  • Nice. Thanks to SKQ! ^^

  • Pasty rocks. Thanks SKQ for reminding me :)

  • Her eyebrows are epic... But she's epic too... thanks to SKQ I got to remember that :) <3

  • @WakiPaula i think her eyebrows are like that cuz se was in a car accident. i ve seen other videos and i think you can see a big scar across her forehead hidden with makeup. nobody wore seatbelts im pretty sure

  • My Grandmother played the heck out of Patsy while i was a little one growing up! I have been a fan since then. I thank SKQ for sharing this for the little one's of today who potentially have not yet heard such woulderful music from the great Patsy Cline.

  • thumbs up if sara quin sent you <3 :)

  • @reecepandascars1 who's that?

  • @reecepandascars1 Sara who?!

  • Thank you Sara, this is really core-shaking

  • Also sent by the adorable Twin>>> Sara K Qiun :-))

  • Really beautiful, thanks SKQ for the link

  • gosh. i had never heard her before and shes amazing. im so glad SKQ posted that link :)

  • yeah love her songs! like sara quin does :-)

  • I used to watch some of her clips and wondered about the um 'headband?' My dumb ass just figured out this is not long after that horrible car wreck .. . the headband is covering her forehead stitches .. am I wrong?

  • awww i wish i met her in person...she my idol..

  • hey I love Patsy, I am 50 yrs old and my mom named me after Patsy, I was born in 1961,

I am glad to have her as my namesake.

  • Thanks, Marie. I'm sure you theory or explanation makes sense. I hope you know I LOVE to listen to Patsy.

  • Pasty Cline forever the queen of music

  • @MayaWinrow Absolutely!

  • @101iluvamerica 13 yrs old?? I can't even get my granddaughter to listen to her. LOL there is hope.

  • Thr sound of her voice, deep and strong...I haven't heard another country singer like her ever since! Truly one of a kind.

  • @mariesadler I agree about Patsy's voice...but I do think Leann Rhimes WAS very,very close.

  • @shoecop007 Leann Rhimes had a higher voice pitch. If I remember correctly, Patsy Clines' vocal range was quite rare for a female and was called "contralto" voice. Judy Garland's voice is also a contralto. You can hear the similarities in the tone when Garland sings Somewhere over the Rainbow in the Wizard of OZ.

  • I didn't think perfection existed in this world, but I was wrong, perfection was and remains Patsy Cline. Rest in peace, dear soul.

  • Brilliant beyond belief. Perfect. Nuanced phrasing, with deep and REAL emotion. One can't ever hear enough Patsy Cline.

  • Vad ska man säga... hon äger...utan alla fina hjälpmedel och utan Erik "Jävla" Saades hoppande.... :))) Det är en riktig artist

  • Simply put; the best voice, EVER. God outdid himself with this one.

  • years ago I had some health problems, and with that came bouts of insomnia. I'd put her CD in and the head phones on, and while lying on the sofa, that beautiful voice would sing me to sleep each night... Who better to lull you to sleep, than Patsy? She was the greatest female focalists of all time...

  • I heard this lovely lady sing in in the 50s where I grew up in London she made me a lifetime country music fan, I am now 76 and still get the hairs rise on the back of my neck when I hear Patsey sing God bless America for all the wonderful talent she's given the world from patsey through to Alabama and still more keep coming. Regards Terry

  • sadly this lovely voice is silenced for ever....our loss

  • God sent an angel to show women on earth how to sing. Then much too soon god realized what he done and called her home to sing at his side. No smoke, no explosios, no naked or bare midriff, no this lady had something no one has even come close to before or since. She had "the voice." In the words of WSM's Eddie Stubbs,"are there any questions?"

  • She's fuckuckin awsome!

  • If she was still living, she would be 78 yrs old...and I would marry her in a heartbeat just so I could hear her sing to me every day. That is, of course, if I could fight my way to the front of the line.

  • Geeeez, what are you guys getting so worked up about. Sure she's good, but can't someone have a contrary opinion? Too much name-calling over a simple difference of opinion. Unfortunately, it's everywhere these days.

  • what a singer thanx for posting this

  • nobody ever sang like Patsy

  • God Patsy was amazing

  • So absolutely amazing! Unparalleled talent.

  • God what a

    voice! I love Patsy

  • @PONYBOY430 watch yourself when you talk about the u.s.a. - then why r u listening to patsy? thats what she is!!! your an idiot. Listen to your "musicians ONLY FROM CANADA". LOL

  • @PONYBOY430 HUH ? patsy made her OWN WAY!! Charlie Dick didnt have nothing to do with it ? lol

  • love her voice soo much she was a darling

  • I fall to pieces - when I hear her unique voice !

  • @PONYBOY430 -----chill dude.

  • epic head band

  • Nothing changed her beautiful voice. Who cares what she looked like.

    Love you Patsy. R.I.P.

  • @coffeecakeish This was after her accident in '61...she went thru the windshield and was scalped and lost part of her face. The doctors did what they could but she never looked the same again. The headband and heavily painted eyebrows are hiding some horrific scars. We are just lucky we got to have her for another 2 years, regardless of how she looked. She still sounded awesome.

  • hahahaha "I've got your picture, she's got you"...tell him to go to hell, why cry over him?great voice, great singer...I'm not big on sad songs though

  • all for patsy its all great juke box hit at still all time!

  • I just listened to Patsy Cline for the first time and I chose this song. Amazing.

  • @coffeecakeish Maybe! Cuz I've seen her in other pictures and they're not so heavily drawn on.

  • I LOVE Patsy but those eyebrows...I wish she wouldn't lol

  • I believe this was not long after she had been in a car accident and her head was cut, etc. I read that somewhere many years ago! Her voice will never be equaled!

    her vocal range is awesome!!

  • AMEN to the people who HEAR PATSYS gift..............

  • Incredible quality on what's a very old recording! Thank you for posting!

  • She has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard!!!

  • so sweet ! it made my day

  • Love Patsy Cline...Love this song! My husband and I think she is the best female country singer that ever recorded a song. What a shame that we lost her so soon.

    Thanks for posting!

  • @Maureen712 She is one of my favorite Country artists. Taylor Swift and others have a lot to learn from her!

  • Anybody who has anything negative to say about Patsy Cline, her voice and/or her music is mentally deficient and has absolutely asshole taste. Too bad people like that cannot recognize perfection and REAL TALENT when they hear it. I'll pray for you stupid asses.

  • @pamtabor64 Agreeeeeeee Pam...Patsys songs are so hard to sing..she had a wonderful voice.

  • @pamtabor64 They don't realize her voice talent because recordings back then wer not as clear as digital recordings nowadays. Or if they had the privilege to actually hear her sing in person, they wouldn't be saying such trash about her. She had a strong and powerful voice.

  • @pamtabor64 Spot on!

  • @pamtabor64 I agree 100% ! Patsy was The Perfect Tear-Jerker and I adore her voice !! No other singer has ever made me cry over love more than her ! She is Pure and Perfect talent !!

  • @nicktesla45 WOW...you really get it Nick. She was not in another class, she was the class. Nobody can or will ever touch her...NOBODY. R.I.P. Patsy.

  • @HalfFastChevy That's the truth ! In my life I seen more Cowboys and Country boys Crying over her songs than any other artist ! Patsy Knew how to Really Touch the hearts of her fans ! She was in a Class all by herself . In fact i loved her song "Crazy" so much I translated the Lyrics into spanish . and is almost exactly the same, word for word! I bet it would be a Tear Jerker in Spanish too But first I have to have my Copyright for the Translation. Just wish I knew some good guitarists.
