Does anyone know if the KopyKats can be had on DVD? eBay, etc? I'd shell out some cash for that superlative series! Great Eartha Kitt and Rosemary Clooney! Funny and so talented.

If I recall correctly, Diana Ross was very amused by Marilyn's imitation of her, and threatened to do her own wicked imitation of Marilyn. Do you know if it ever materialized? Marilyn never reached superstar status, but she was very busy on shows like Sullivan, Paar, Carson, nightclubs.

No one, male or female, has ever matched her ability to render almost clone-like replications of famous singers & other celebrities. Her own voice is beautiful and exquisite with subtlety, range, & power. Her quick wit & sharp comedic sensibilities are wondrous to behold. No one on the scene today even remotely approaches her talent. She is a living legend who rightly deserves much greater acclaim.
Christine Pedi from Forbidden Broadway can do some great impressions, her Eartha Kitt is sooo great. I'm not saying she's better, I'm just saying you might wanna check her out too
The show with 8 different ladies and Steve Lawrence, is from a trailblazing series called, The Kopykats... first taped in Canada, then in London and shown here on ABC TV.... great stuff...

I agree with jetskidrummer, Marilyn Michaels was grossly underestimated and under appreciated. She put professional female singers to shame!

Probably the most underated female performer /impressionist ever..BRAVO Marilyn is awesome..I loved her Edie at the end with Steve!!
