The Beatles were always showing that they enlarged the basis of popular music in many ways. From english folkmusik to Roch n Roll, classical music, and even to indian music. Today you may find better singers, better instrumentalists. But it's hard to find
so good songwriters with a good feeling for melody, structure of song, arangements, and themes in the words. Their influence will last forever !

fgt666...I know your comments are 1 year old but fgt666 Razorlight have about 2/3 decent songs (most based upon Beatle classics)...on t'other hand the Beatles have 12 studio albums each regarded as classics...anyway me fave Beatles song is While My Guitar Gently Weeps...
