The reason I think this film did better than the supposed "return to tradion," Princess and the Frog, is because when I think of the tradition that was before CGI, it consisded of Alan Menken songs, PatF had Randy Newman songs, this had Alan Menken songs.

for all those people out there saying this is a pixar movie. it is not. by the legal contract both disny and pixar signed if one company seeks uses the other for a movie then it is called a 'disney-pixar' movie so both companies get credit. that doesn't mean they can't make their own movies independent of the other. just because this is computer animation doesn't mean it's pixar, just means disney's taking a different approach.
