it's not real.While they couldn't really put them out on their own,I think the adults could've had a little less involvement.I had a feeling there would be some kind of guide they'd follow though.I wasn't expecting some award-winning documentary.

the plot is a load. "bonanza city" is a movie set called Bonanza Creek Movie Ranch that has only been active since the 1950's. I'm honestly not suprised. Yes, alot of the scenes are staged. It's television, what do you expect.

I'm not sure if this has been said or not, but the episodes seem to be based on one main theme each time, and each episode they read the book and it tells them how to deal with this problem. I can't help but think that it is somewhat staged. I still think the idea was cool, but i thought it was going to have less help from adults ie: prizes, a town already built, stores. I was hoping for more of a survivor with kids.

I think it's a good idea for the show. Kids had an incredible time there, and they are not the same after this experience. They learned how adult life operates. This show is also great for us who study child psychology which includes child behaviour.
