NILS LOFGREN. Do a GOOGLE search on him and you'll see what kind of career he's had. Pretty impressive. I think this video footage is actually from a NILS LOFGREN tribute gig or something like that. I might be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure I'm correct. If not...maybe HAPPYMEDIUM27 can correct me.

I'm not sure to whom you are referring? If you are referring to Eric Ambel...all I can say is that he fucking wishes he played with Bruce Springsteen! I'm not sure off the top of my head about Tommy Keene or Nils Lofgren. I guess I could google them again and see what additional information I can find.

Nils Lofgren has also worked with Neil Young who is my personal favorite musician. If I'm not mistaken, I think Ambel worked on the Nils album Crooked Line with Neil Young. I'm not sure though. I think that's what I remember from certain conversations from people involved in that project.

As much personal dislike and contempt as I have for Ambel, he's a pretty good musician. He has some solo cd's that are good. He's just a selfish prick so it's hard for me to sing his praises. Although, his playing isn't what it used to be a few years ago due to a serious wrist injury and once a guitar player compromises his hands or wrists, their playing is never the same.
