Stonking great games. They should take Mogura to XBLA/PSN/VC, I'd gladly give a few spare bucks for a shmup experience this frantic and polished.

I have a game called mogura but it's not this one, did I play the earlier game?

Possibly. There was another Mogura shooter before this one, which looked similar with slightly more simplistic graphics.
There is also a Mogura Tennis.

Awesome stuff. Glad to see I'm not the only one to be in awe of the first Mogura shooter. I tried to play the second, but it gives me an error and won't run. Any ideas on what I might be doing wrong?
I am on Windows Vista which it may not like.

There were issues for people getting it to run on XP too. See if this will help:
After you've installed the game, go to the main folder where you will have to rename 4 files.
First: モグラリバース2.cca and モグラリバース2.exe -> name them to something like 'Mogura2.cca' and 'Mogura2.exe'.
Now do the same thing with the other file called '入力設定.cca' and .exe. Change them to something with the same name like 'config.cca' and .exe.
Hope this helps.
Awesome. Worked like a charm.

For some strange reason the folder crashes when i right click the exe. I can't even rename it lol.
Oh well.
I have Vista 64bit although i'm not one to blame everything on vista it looks like this is one time i can.

Hmm. I'm not sure how well or not it works on Vista as I've never tried.
The reason it's not working for you guys, is because the game executables are using japanese characters and you need to change that.
If my instructions don't work for you, you can Google "applocale" - its a free program by MS. It might help to get the game to work.
