I use reason 5, my biggest thing about making jungle/dnb/breakcore is that I have to load up my amen, and I don't know how to program the thing(besides the notes) through maybe automation or something to play certain parts of the breaks. I saw you glitch this stuff out like crazy, very very nice work. Much respect for this track. :D
wow, definetly IDM must be the hardest electronic music genre to produce !! u must need a lot of time to program all that drums !! we need the ''how to make'' tutorial dude !!
I'm not in this "flashbulbic" kind of breakcore, but props for work, I think it's very laborious to make such things in reason, which I will never use, becouse of no VST support. Peace.
cool but the synth did kind of get annoying after a while but i guess thats kind of a style that you're into...oh yeah and i thought breakcore was slower than IDM...
nice. I just got into chopping up rex loops in the sequencer and rearranging em. Ive got a ways to come, I think ive done about 10% of the things you can do with this program. Love the track.
fuck man ...to much time on your hands haha .. seriously to program that in dr:rex must take years ..i make most stuff in reason and than export them as individual wav loops then i use renoise to mash them all together and input my drums takes way less time to do retrigs reverses etc!
There's some interesting drills in that track you have on your page. I've tried moving sounds between programs but it's too hard for me to keep everything organized and it ends up sounding better if i find a much more complicated way to do it in reason.
I'm not sure how long this took me. Usually I work on stuff off and on for awhile. The drums I usually don't change much after the first run of programming. That way it's more like improv I guess.

Breakcore slower than IDM? Fat chance. Go listen to some Bong Ra or Drumcorps, then re-evaluate that thought.

Nice track! How long did it take for you to program all the drums? How much of the whole song was programmed and how much was improvisatory?
