  • What about warrantys and stuff? IS it a Merc or is it NOT a Merc when it suddenly stops working?

  • SHOULD TAKE ABOUT 20 MINUTES

  • this car is a true hot rod.

  • top gun theme music for this car definately suits it

  • big beast!!!!

  • wrong, japan is the tuning capital of the world

  • @REPOMAN24722 how do you figure that, germans are better engineers of making more power then the japs who make bolt ons for a car, a tuning company will take the whole car and rebuild it you dont see that in japan with the little rice burners that break down

  • @g20s10silveradoman lol you should shut up before you further embarass yourself, japanese cars are more reliable than German cars, in the top 10 most reliable car manufaturers, 8 are from japan and the other 2 are french, japanese engines make more power per litre than german cars can and japanese engines are designed for tuning while german cars are not, a gtr skylines rb26dett engine can handle 1900hp and it is only 2.6l in size, a rx8 engine is 1.3l in size and produces 220hp.

  • @REPOMAN24722 i own 3 european cars being a 2002 volkswagen beetle 2.0 GLS with 145k and runs like a top, a 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit with a 1.6 Diesel with 425k, and a 2004 Audi A8L 4.2 only 225k not 1 has left me on the side of the road, and also own a 1995 Lincoln Continental with 114k and the lincoln was the only one to give me a headache so as far as im concerned your full of shit when it comes to audi being reliable, merc and bmw i can believe, and another thing the rx8 has no torque

  • @g20s10silveradoman Wrong, rotary engines have higher high end torque than piston engines, although I do preffer piston engines, My friend has a nissan bluebird that has done over 800,000km on it since he dirves it from queensland all the time and it has never broke down once, I know people with bmw's and they break down allot. My nissan pulsar has 246k on it I change the oil every year arounf 20k to 25k and I never even take it for a service because It doesnt need to.

  • @REPOMAN24722 i said i dont doubt a bmw is unreliable, and the only time the rotary engine has its power is beyond 5000k RPM unlike alot of piston engines, and all my cars are in the USA where we measure distance in miles so if you want to convert all my vehicles to kilometers, audi A8L 362k, vw rabbit diesel 683k , vw beetle 233k, and lincoln continental 183k, the audi and both vw's only had timing belts and normal tune ups & diesel i just changed the injector pump and various suspension items

  • @g20s10silveradoman The only thing that was replaced in my engine is the timing cover, the previous mechanic didnt put it on properly and it cracked so it needs replacing, I also have the most reliale 4 cylinder engine ever made according many sources. and i believe it since so little has gone wrong with my car.

  • @REPOMAN24722 for a pulsar thats wickid good consitering that every time i herd of them i heard stay away from it but that is based off of someone elses opinion, thats why i bought my audi and volkswagen's and numerous people told me to stay away from the lincoln i own because of the 4 wheel air suspension and i havent had much trouble with that

  • @g20s10silveradoman Well pulsars were the most relaible cars you could buy in the 90's and i mean only the 90's models with the GA16DE and the SR20DE engine two of the most reliable engines, along with the corrolla they were the most reliable cars, I know of a 80's corrolla going pas 1 million killometers withought a problem, and my uncles friend has a honda civic from 1984 he has driven it over 1,400,000km because he drives it accross the country allot not a single problem since it was bought.

  • @REPOMAN24722 the only thing about any car that nobody pays attention to anymore is maintanence if it isnt done properly or on time a car is just a ticking timebomb, i work on alot of that kind of person's cars everything from merc's vw's ford's chrysler's chevy's etc.people just are too cheap in the american economy that they dont want to keep their car longer then 100,000 miles its sad

  • @REPOMAN24722

    Japs are shit, nuff said..

  • @rock3tcat You have provided no evidence to that a Nissan RB26DETT n1 engine can handle 1900hp, the Toyota 2jz can handle even more than that, it is easier to get power out of Japanese cars than any other car, they have the most after market support, the best selling sports car series in the world is the Nissan Z, the best sounding engine according to most people is the RB26DETT.

  • @REPOMAN24722 correction american cars have the largest aftermarket for tuning considering they have the longest line of established line of technology and usage and quite honestly thats what you see out on the drag strip every weekend. I do love foreign cars though...

  • @diamondg89 SR29DET has the most aftermarjet support, more than any other engine in the world, followed by RB26DETT and 2JZ, all these engines are japanese.

  • @g20s10silveradoman and the least reliable cars were german being bmw, audi, mercedes and porsche right behind jeep.

  • what the song on 2:00??thx in advance

  • look at S class 240 km/h and it is silent

  • this s class is just awesome

  • Harold Faltermeyer and Steve Stevens (Top Gun Anthem) RULE!!!

  • Yeah Golder Earring!!!!

  • the SLK is so ugly omg.....

  • @m0mbuster 'Ugly'? You must be the only clown that thinks that the SLK is ugly. Dick

  • @bloobear1 im the only clown who thought that your mum was pretty, thats why you were born....

    stupid fucking kid

  • @m0mbuster What a moronic fucking comment!

  • @bloobear1 you should know that every1 has a diferent taste

if i dont like it its not your problem, and no1 wants your oppinion

    go back to kindergarden punk

  • @m0mbuster So if you don’t like the SLK, then why are you looking at this video? So what’s so special about you that you think people want to hear your negative opinions?

  • @bloobear1 because i like top gear?

  • nothing as the SLR

  • that s73 is just so crazy, i think any driver of any car would drool seeing that machine driving down the road, true presidential car just so aggressive

  • "There's not one Mercedes Badge on this car" but at 5:05 there's one on the Steering Wheel :) Someone made a Boo Boo

  • hahahahaha

  • @wicha08 hahahaha

  • @marcusmrdj

That's a technicality. The badge is INSIDE the car not ON it.

  • @marcusmrdj It is beacuse this a "Brabus" (Mercedes)!

  • @marcusmrdj No they didn´t, this a Brabus (Mercedes)

  • @marcusmrdj it's a brabus.

  • @marcusmrdj thats because its a brabus enhanced vehicle, hence the brabus badging. however in order to keep the mercedes benz origin of the car lively, some parts (steering wheel) have the mercedes benz badge.

  • @marcusmrdj Fuck you the slk brabus has the mercedes badge on the steering wheel

  • @marcusmrdj Thats not a badge. Thats an engraving. Thats different. A badge can be removed (de-badging a car). In the case of the steering wheel, it would have to be replaced all together cus it isnt a badge.

  • @marcusmrdj means on the outside

  • @marcusmrdj ON not IN. ur a boo boo

  • @marcusmrdj Brabus blacks out the grill. thats why.

  • @marcusmrdj he said "on the car" not "in the car"

  • ROFL young Clarkson...

  • @AntMcL1 aha))

  • it was filmed in Germany

  • @ysivyboi1 Yes lo and behold!!!

  • @ysivyboi1 Yes, lo and behold!!

  • I'm guessing this was shot before the abundance of speed cameras in Britain were put up.

  • It was probably filmed on the autobahn, in Germany

  • Takes some courage to drive so fast and talk to camera in the same time. :P

  • He did all that WHILE working for top gear TV.
