@Siimon204 New Unearth dissapointed me because one thing i always liked about Unearth was that they were a metalcore band that DIDN'T SING. As soon as i heard Darkness in the light, i knew the whole album was gonna be a real buzzkill. Live they still kick ass, but the album left a bad taste in my mouth. And yes, the new In Flames was better than A Sense of Purpose... but that's because it wasn't bad, it was just boring. Listen to Whoracle and Clayman. In Flames should NEVER be boring.

@KKoserYaks I'm not a big Devil Wears Prada guy, i find the singer a little annoying. Is Born to Lose a good representation of the band? Because the music was alright, but as soon as i heard the singer i was pretty much done. And Dramatic Turn of Events was good, but at this point Dream Theater has pretty much put out the same album three times and called it three different things. I don't think the new drummer makes much of a difference.
@TheGessNation I guess Born To Lose is a good representation; it pretty much labels the transition from their old style to their new style. Fair enough view on Dramatic Turn. Thanks for the response. Keep up the reviews.
@Fearthemetal666 I LOVE Winds of Plague, but the new album dissapointed me so much. It seems like they were more interested in making breakdowns than decent hooks, which i found incredibly offputting.
I'd totally forgotten that Limp Bizkit put out a new album this year...and wow am I glad. That music made me physically ill. But your review itself was hilarious!
Seriously if you haven't contacted channel awesome to try to get on there you should. You'd fit in great there (and a crossover with Todd in the Shadows would be amazing)

I don't think i'd have enough to say for a full review, but Tres Brujas was a great song, and the album showcased their talent more than any other. I'm actually working on doing a bunch of different segments on the channel besides just new reviews, and one of them is going to be a "metal essentials" type show. I'm going to go through my favorite albums from years ago and talk about their significance.
I'm gonna watch this again because it's so good!

Im a huge fan but yes,the lyrics kinda suck on most songs and this album was pretty weak.

Between Gold Cobra and Korn's Path of Totaliy, it's not even a contest. Limp Bizkit put out the better album.
Also, Korn and Limp Bizkit don't classify as metal in any book. Chalk it up to the rock genre and leave them out of metal.
