03-04's are 3600 for a coupe ya power to weight is a factor. But I have been in these car's running down bikes, SURPRISED the shit out of me. I could not believe it a bolt on car running down a 600RR the car I was in then my buddy staying with and then pulling on his brothers GSXR at just over 130mph. OK, i have owned both a 03 Cobra with exhaust,pulley , chip and Nos. Car ran about 10.9 average, my bike (2002 F4i)has full exhaust, K&N filter with Commander III and runs at about 10.4, so yea the bike is much faster and cheaper to maintain then the POS Ford Cobra i bought new in 2003.
@shadowranger16 i have a 08 gsxr and and an full bolton 03 cobra dude these bikes are faster then a bolton cobra in the 1/4 for sure but any thing longer then that or form a rolling start cobra all day i'll get some vids up soon my brother has the same bike as me we will do a few runs for you after 125/130 cobra walks a way every time i love bike just as much as you do dude been riding all my life i will say that 750 walk me and 1000 rape me lol...

I used to race cars and what you say is simply dumb. I love cars, in fact pretty much anything with an engine but for thrills nothing matches a bike on the road.
@raxorules There are no chicken strips on my bike. I road on the track from 14 to 19, starting out with an SV650, moving on to one bored and stroked, then finaly moving to a 929. Currently I ride a CBR 600 F3 on the street.
In thrills, you are right. Bikes offer what is nearly impossible to find in that arena. However, if you put a good handling car (not a civic with coilovers, think Lotus Exige) against a bike, the car will have a huge advantage in the corners.
In my experience its a good car's braking ability that makes all the difference. Where you have a road that requires significant braking then a light car with good brakes (like the Lotus Exige) has a significant advantage because the car can brake so much later than the bike.
In terms of overall cornering speeds, the 4 tyres of a car (surprisingly perhaps) don't offer that much of an advantage. Next time you're 'playing' against a Lotus notice how late he can leave his braking.

@theurbanretard2 Yeah bud, I'm glad it was a low map fixture in that file because I had a friend put a map in on his bike and it was a couple years older then his and ended up being too high of a fuel mix for his bike and damaged the engine :/. Let me know how it works for you though. that way I can pass it on through a forum.
@theurbanretard2 The 03 and 05 models are quite different. mainly with the cams. and body work. So I suppose the ecu set up will be different as well. but who knows, it may work. first though, I suggest that you try that mapping M108-509 first and then if your not satisfied... use your nose. Literally. if it smells lean in a certain rpm group, lower the fuel once in that rpm range and vice versa. Let me know though how it goes.
@theurbanretard2 I used the map # M108-509 It's for a scorpion exhaust but did the trick pretty well. But, I did adjust the low,med, and high rpm range by 1 click by using the battery adapter and pressing all three buttons at once when I turn it on. I just popped each rpm range up 1 click. It was actually accidental. I was pissed that I couldn't find a map that worked well so I took off the rear seat and did that just to try it haha, it worked lol give it a go and get back to me...

@geesikser there really isn't much of a difference between an f4i and an rr. maybe a couple hp but that's about it. Honda needs to sell bikes so they'll thrown on the label "race ready" but it's all bull. If you've ridden both bikes you'll know that they're practically the same. the 1000 on the other hand is a different story! :)

@raxorules There are no chicken strips on my bike. I road on the track from 14 to 19, starting out with an SV650, moving on to one bored and stroked, then finaly moving to a 929. Currently I ride a CBR 600 F3 on the street.
In thrills, you are right. Bikes offer what is nearly impossible to find in that arena. However, if you put a good handling car (not a civic with coilovers, think Lotus Exige) against a bike, the car will have a huge advantage in the corners.

In my experience its a good car's braking ability that makes all the difference. Where you have a road that requires significant braking then a light car with good brakes (like the Lotus Exige) has a significant advantage because the car can brake so much later than the bike.
In terms of overall cornering speeds, the 4 tyres of a car (surprisingly perhaps) don't offer that much of an advantage. Next time you're 'playing' against a Lotus notice how late he can leave his braking.

I'd like to know what gear that guy was starting in on the F4i. He's pulling slow as all hell. 3rd? 4th? You can't even hear the damn bike before the takeoff and he's right outside the damn window. @theurbanretard2 Yeah bud, I'm glad it was a low map fixture in that file because I had a friend put a map in on his bike and it was a couple years older then his and ended up being too high of a fuel mix for his bike and damaged the engine :/. Let me know how it works for you though. that way I can pass it on through a forum.

@theurbanretard2 The 03 and 05 models are quite different. mainly with the cams. and body work. So I suppose the ecu set up will be different as well. but who knows, it may work. first though, I suggest that you try that mapping M108-509 first and then if your not satisfied... use your nose. Literally. if it smells lean in a certain rpm group, lower the fuel once in that rpm range and vice versa. Let me know though how it goes.

@theurbanretard2 I used the map # M108-509 It's for a scorpion exhaust but did the trick pretty well. But, I did adjust the low,med, and high rpm range by 1 click by using the battery adapter and pressing all three buttons at once when I turn it on. I just popped each rpm range up 1 click. It was actually accidental. I was pissed that I couldn't find a map that worked well so I took off the rear seat and did that just to try it haha, it worked lol give it a go and get back to me...

Any Jack off can drive a car around a turn pretty close to the limit of the car's handling but it takes a lot of skill to do that on a bike. It goes both ways really. Every time a car can hang with me on my bike, I love it because like you said it's a lot harder for a car to hang in a drag with a bike.

Honda needs to sell bikes so they'll thrown on the label "race ready" but it's all bull. good race. i like motorcycles, but i also like cars. i guess really, i just like speed, cuz i love rollercoasters. i love going fast. damn cops.
