Floor, I just want you to know that whenever people ask me what kind of music I like or what singers I think are good I show them your (often times live) performances. You are the standard that I use to evaluate other female singers but you have set the bar so high that not many can compare. I am right there with you on the burnout; I dropped out of medical school when I was almost done because I was doing that and having to work full time to support myself... it's hard!

I'm so happy you are doing better! Burnouts are tough and when you have a creative spirit, but it's all of a sudden gone... its really tough and makes you so depressed.

Here in the USA, I don't think popular musicians are allowed rest... That must be horrid..

But rest and, if you can, draw...even baddly :)... it can spark a bit of energy and creativity.

I'm burned out too, but my situation doesn't give me the chance to recover. If I do, I can forget my job. Even a vacation isn't possible in my situattion, and I have to care for a whole family. So you can count yourself lucky you had the chance to recover !
