Love your shoes John. Where do you get them? That is such a cool green house! The barrells are great for the thermal mass. And great camera work for the persion helping you! The roller idea was really good. And the raised beds where great!
That's a dream greenhouse! :) Maybe another year but I plan on using my raised with frames on top for "greenhouses." I seem to do better with plants when they're put where I want them versus seeding them then later putting them where I want. Just me.
Ive had my cherrytomato plants for nearly a month and their not even the size of a seedling yet and I don't know whats wrong. I think the potting soil i put them in does not have enough nitrogen and phosphate and what not. Can you buy rock dust and worm castings anywhere other than online?
@runetamers7 You can buy a small amount of organic compost at any local garden center and make a quick batch of steeped compost tea by adding one part compost to 7 parts water. Let it set overnight, then water your tomatoes with it and they'll perk up and grow like mad. Also make sure you give them as much sunlight as possible. You'll have killer maters in no time. :)
What an cool green house.... I want I want I want. I can not imagine the job I would have to have a green house like that.
It rained in Louisiana for the first time in a month. I had 5 gallon buckets catching water last night plus my three rain barrels. I think we are in for a dry summer.
wow, interesting John, thanks for making the vid!

check with local nurseries for worm castings and rock dust. Buy some starts if your seedlings arent growing fast enough for you!
