or you can do it the easy way. Go to mobilespin and use their free online ringtone tool. After you use the tool to create your ringtone (in only 3 steps), it gives you a .m4r file which you put in iTunes and sync and you are done! You can create as many ringtones as you want! Remember if you have iTune songs (which are M4P format), convert them to MP3 first, there are many free tools to do this

I got a question, I put 5 songs for ringtones right? Lets say S1,S2,S3,S4,S5.

Well they all go on itunes perfect and sync up but when I go to ringtones on the actual phone its just one song listed 5 times. in other words on itunes it says S1,S2,S3,S4,S5 but on my phone it will just have one song five times, S2,S2,S2,S2,S2.

Anyone have any ideas? My first iphone didnt do this but my last two have, whats going on?

Pretty cool, but i still need to download an application and do a lot of work to get one ringtone on our iphone.

I would advice to use the online service from nakko com.

your select what you want as a ringtones press synchronise once and your are done. and it's totall free too.

dude, did u try checking their file extensions? After you have converted them to .m4r, u need to remove the .aac and .m4a files from the subfolder n itunes where u saved them on, just keep the m4r and drag them to iTunes. U have to do this or else u get pretty messed up with redundant file names. I hope I help u out.. I swear it really works!!

I made 286 ringtones already out of this one, I am preparing to upload it in torrents once I get to 350 or so. Why? Coz people have different genre preference so I figured making tones from acoustic to rock. E.g. Shout by disturbed

After Trial expires:

1. uninstall the software from control panel.

2. Open Registry edit and search for "iPhoneRingtoneMaker" and delete all the entries you find in it Until you hit "Search Complete"

3. then open the windows file search screen and search for "*iPhoneRingtoneMaker*" and delete all the file you find in it.

4. Reinstall the software and you are ready to copy 3 more songs to your iPhone.

You need to close the itunes before you transfer the ringtone to iphone. This worked with me.
