Burndt Jamb could have been the beginning of a different direction for weezer, more jam based. I love the funky guitar, sorta john frusciante sounding. One of my fav songs from them. Maladroit is their most underrated album in my opinion.

I agree! It seems like (in my opinion) they lost it after Maladroit. I didn't think the next 2 albums were that bad, but nothing special. After the red album though. I just decided to stick with weezer - maladroit.

What, more songs that Scott plays on? He's not the most talented bassist they've had. Matt Sharp, in my opinion, takes that title. Scott, however, comes in at a close second. And anyway, the Red Album is all filler songs. The only good tracks are the first three and Everybody Get Dangerous. Okay, maybe Heart Songs. Scott hasn't really had a chance. Wait till Raditude comes out. There are probably some good basslines on there, knowing Scott.
